Porblemas tarjeta

Tengo una xfx 6800gs xxx edition y me pasa lo siguiente. Estoy jugando al quake 4 y tan pronto se para y tengo que reiniciar el ordenador pero ahora lo que me hace es salir unas rayas horizontales por la pantalla, quito el juego pero siguen hasta que reinicio, miro la temperatura de la tarjeta y no es alta, a que se debe, y porque al principio va bien y de repente se le cruza.
