Problema Salida Tv

Hola,
Recientemente me he comprado una TV Samsung LCD y la he conetado al PC mediante un cable DVI - HDMI. La conecté sin problemas pero después de usarlo un par de veces se me quedó colgado el PC mentras la señal estaba en la TV. Reinicié y el monitor no se encendía, seguía la señal en la TV, después de varios reinicios y desconectar el cable DVI el monitor se volvió a enceder. Apagué el PC y cual es mi sorpresa cuando al dia siguiente enciendo el PC y el monitor no va, me dice que no le llega señal. Al poco de iniciar el PC me suena un sonido en la placa.
¿Se me habrá estropeado la gráfica? no lo entiendo. Estoy jodido porque es una Gforce 6800GT y me dolería tener que pillarme una nueva gráfica.
