Problema tarjeta sonido, ayuda

Buenas tardes, hoy por fin después de tenerla abandonada mucho tiempo, he instalado la tarjeta de sonido SoundBlaster Audigy Player.
No he sido capaz de instalarla correctamente.
Los drivers parece que estén bien, porque me voy a administrador de dispositivos, en sonido y pone SB Audigy.
Los altavoces me hacen un sonido constante muy fuerte, como si fuera una emisora de radio mal sintonizada y si pongo alguna canción, la oigo muy de lejos y mal.

Puede que o los altavoces esten estropeados o lo esté la tarjeta, por lo menos a primera vista es lo que parece.
