Pregunta CONVERSOR DVI - VGA

buenas,
hace poco compre una nVidia 9600GT, esta viene con un DUAL-DVI y entre los accesorios que trae no viene el conversor de DVI-VGA, así pues me fui a comprar uno.
El GRAN problema fue que a la hora de comprar me ofrecieron varios y fue cuando se me ocurrió sacar el conversor de la tarjeta DVI-HDMI y compre uno igual pero DVI-VGA.;D
El problema es que al prender el compu y no me da vídeo, el bombillo del monitor cambia a amarillo "standby" y hay se queda.
ADJUNTO imagen de los tipos de DVI q me ofrecieron. Mi antigua 6800 traía el de forma de "+" y me funcionaba bien.
La verdad quede "loco" con eso de los conversores, cual se debe comprar??
