Acerca fondo de pantalla al hacer xstart o xinit

pues resulta que suSE mete un fondo en su entorno grafico cuando introduces el login y passwd, pero a mi me gustaria cambiarlo pero no encuentro el direcctorio donde hace la llamada, alguien me podria ayudar?
