I just remodeled my main PC and I took the opportunity to put an AM3 motherboard on my old PhenomII X3, with 8GB DDR3 and a CrossfireX HD5770 + HD5750.

I've had the socket 775 since 2006 and it's still going to last for a while longer. I think it's the PC that has lasted me the longest (and the one I've made the least upgrades to) and it still puts up a good fight.

If you don't look at intel the little cards it sells to buy a code and be able to unlock the micros of laptops XD you want a few Mhz more then buy the little card XD.
