By the way, there's only the metro operation map, as I already said it's the same as the alpha, which I find quite disappointing because it's the same thing again, there's another map, caspian border, which is only for internal testing and they've mentioned that "maybe" they'll open it up the last week of BETA, so keep an eye out, as it would be the real battlefield and not this map that gets boring after a while without handling heavy things.

I downloaded it from Origin.

Well, with the #1 team signature at 1680x1050 and everything at full, I get a sustained rate of 30 fps, with very occasional drops to 20 (after playing for a while I haven't noticed those drops anymore). At this rate it's perfectly playable, but not completely fluid.

As for the game, for me without vehicles of any kind, it's not a real battlefield. The graphics are very good and the sounds are quite spectacular. But as I said, until vehicles can be used, it's just another shooter (within reason, because it has quite a few cool things).

So far I haven't found any major flaws, so I think in October we'll be facing a pretty polished game.

And as for the beta game mode, to be honest, I haven't fully understood it. I don't know how to choose the team or anything. I always end up in a park. If we do more or less well, we reappear inside the metro when we respawn and if we continue, we go deeper into the stations. To be honest, I don't know what the objective is. I've just been killing.

By the way, to see the fps you can press ctrl+alt+S.

Well yes, it would be pretty good to be able to test vehicles. As for the Z5500, my parents have those. I have to settle for a Creative T7900, which don't sound anywhere near as good as the Logitech, but they give a decent sound.

Well, with everything on ultra and everything maxed out, my custom vamsos run at 42fps max and sometimes drop to 29-30, but the gameplay is very smooth, let's hope that with SLI it will be perfect.

So it seems that the processor is not of great importance in this game. Better for me

Now it gave me spikes of 62 but the stable ones are 35-40, I think micro doesn't suck much either. By the way, the drop zone works poorly to be able to invite friends and enter the game together.

After half an hour I was able to play, I tried the viones and they are very good looking, a shame that where I entered there were some lags and they disabled the missiles from the viones :resaca: so to shrapnel the helicopter pretty well too but with even worse lag, I liked the tank and the destruction is great, but I didn't have a zoom or a machine gun for the pilot, I read that it was disabled for the BETA but anyway overall I really liked the map of 64 it's amazing.
The anti-aircraft are authentic batteries as they put them, tomorrow I'll see if I can give it a try without lag.

Well it seems that Nvidia is not the only one that has released new drivers optimized for the Battlefield beta, ATI has done the same for their graphics.

Well, I've already developed a habit this afternoon and...

It has bugs. You knock down the soldier and he keeps bouncing, there are areas of the map where you get stuck under the textures when you crawl...
My 8800 GT is enough to play it, but with EVERYTHING at minimum (1280x1024) :llorar: and with the options disabled. Even when I put it on manual, it won't let me move anything.

I've been left watching how spectacular it is and aware that, logically, with everything at minimum I haven't seen anything.
So, there's nothing left to do but buy a GPU :risitas: I'll wait to see how it runs with different graphics cards and, depending on what you're saying, I'll make up my mind about which one to go for.

Mi 8800 GT me da para jugarlo, pero con TODO al mínimo (1280x1024) :llorar: y con las opciones deshabilitadas. Aún poniéndolo en manual, no me deja mover nada.

Me he quedado viendo lo espectacular que es y consciente de que, lógicamente, con todo al mínimo no he visto nada.
Pues nada, a comprar GPU tocan...:risitas: Esperaré a ver qué tal tira con distintas gráficas y según vayáis comentando, me haré a la idea de por cual decantarme.

Veo que me va a tocar cambiar de gráfica también… también me esperaré a ver si alguien con un micro como el mío y uan gráfica superior lo puede mover bien a 1280*1024 para saber si me he de estirar mucho o no para una gráfica, que no anda el horno para cambiar todo el equipo.

Man @amd125, Xrayboy has the same micro as you, the only thing is the graphics, but I think there won't be much of a problem with the micro.

@Cobito the issue with the password is that as they were being leaked and the Caspian map is currently in testing, they have decided to make new passwords daily, but they continue to leak, let's see if I can get today's one and I'll send them to you via PM and with any luck you'll be able to get into some maps.

I'm thinking about a Gigabyte GTX 560 Ti OC, a bit better than the 460 and more than x3 more powerful than my 8800GT.
It doesn't cost, nor does it consume, nor does it get too hot and it's more than enough to play at full…

The need for the 580 to play at full capacity is very relative. It depends on how picky you are with FPS. I can play everything at full with my 460 without any problems. And if instead of putting it on "ultra" I put it on "high", I get a sustained rate of 40 fps.

As for the micro, it doesn't seem to be too important.

With the Crossfire of HD5770 I'm in the same situation as cobito, in the "Ultra" setting I could play without problems but it runs more smoothly with "high", leaving aside the lag that the servers hit.

The Beta is quite finished although with some flaws as they commented here, in certain areas if you crawl you can slip under the floor textures, sometimes a soldier flies through the map or dead people and weapons move around the map.

Coñ0, well that's a 60€ difference... interesting detail... I suppose that for 1280x1024 it's even easier than for your resolution or it will be similar, right?
If there isn't much difference aesthetically between ultra and high, maybe I'll save that for when I change the whole team and buy a more decent PCIE 3.0 (or 4.0).
After all, this team has 2 more evening news programs and I prefer not to spend too much (because in the end the game comes out expensive...)

I think that with a 460 and at that resolution you say Xrayboy you are more than served and more so if for the future you want to change everything, as you rightly say, damage it as little as possible, besides you have BF for a while and when you change your equipment and upload it to custom it will be like a new game XD.
