The ideal is that you make a hackintosh and with 64GB you will arrive and I say this because with the macbook air I have a disk of 64GB and I am using 20GB. If you finally want to virtualize it you will need more space, perhaps about 30GB for the OS (you would be better off with an XP 64bit so that it consumes less) and the other 30GB for the sessions in which you are working, if you see it short the one of 128GB is at 170€. Obviously in any way you will always need another disk for storage if you have any at home (even if it is one of those 120GB SATA) it will serve you.

@nikera the Logic Pro has a minimum requirement of 2GB, recommended 4GB. Initially with 8GB it will have more than enough and you will be able to expand it when you want. I already see that you like things exaggerated (24GB of RAM, 1200W power supply) but it is good to know what you need so as not to waste especially in what is expandable.

Haber empezado por ahí jejeje. Pues mira, lo mejor es que indagues en foros especializados y cuando des con una placa compatible con hacky (con chipset P67 o Z68 para darle caña a un versión K) te lances a por ella para tirar con Logic. Si vas a por un 2500K te da para un SSD de 64GB, mientras no tires mucho de librerías (si vas a hacer mezcla y master no creo que lo necesites) tendrás suficiente para SO. No obstante opino que mejor ir a por un 2600 o un 2700K que al fin y al cabo es lo que te va a permitir no cortarte con reverbs y EQs de varias bandas, si te lías a meter plugg's pesados agradecerás más micro que disco, para librerías pesadas sí que estaría bien un SSD, lo malo es que las hay de muchos GB y 128GB son 180€.

Los modelos K permiten subir de vueltas el procesador, no es complicado y ganarás algo de rendimiento por un poco más. Para esto la placa debe tener el chipset P67 o Z68. El compañero de otro foro que tiene la gigabyte en el hacki le ha rascadao 4GHz y pico frente a los 3,3 de serie, 3,4 con turbo con carga en 4 cores.
