      @amd125:

Either you remove the SSD, you put a normal hard drive, making a partition and with what you save you put a graphics card like the 560 GTX Ti that you want.

It is also a viable option :sisi:

        Thanks for the replies.

Regarding the SSD, I don't quite understand what the difference is. Is it really worth installing the OS on an SSD? I understand (maybe incorrectly) that they load data faster, and they're great for gaming.

The SSD is, in general, much faster than a conventional disk, but whether or not you notice this improvement depends on the type of traffic. Since the access time is practically non-existent, you notice a big difference when accessing many small files. That's why it's ideal for the OS, where you'll definitely notice a significant improvement in boot time and conventional use.

However, for typically sequential access (large files) you won't notice much difference. Also, you have to keep in mind that the cost per Giga in € is much higher.

It's not worth it for games. First of all, if you're a gamer with several games installed, it will quickly become too small, and secondly, while it's true that games load faster and intermediate loads are optimized, if you're going to be playing for a couple of hours, what difference does it make if the game takes a minute to load or a minute and twenty seconds?

I see the SSD as useful, in addition to the OS, for applications that you open and close frequently (for example, the browser or the email client), applications that are loaded and unloaded partially or totally frequently (antivirus, desktop aids, etc.) and for locating temporary files (which the applications actually work on). I think it's better to install games and other applications on conventional disks. You would probably be better off installing a couple of 500Gb disks in RAID 0 for that instead of the 1T that Sylver recommended.

Ok. I have managed to increase my budget a little, and I think I will be able to put an SSD and the 560TI graphics card that I wanted.

Another question, does the motherboard include a sound and network card? If so, does anyone know how many Db? I have looked at a couple of reviews but I am not clear :S And I need a card that can connect via wifi and from a somewhat distant distance, since with the 3db of this computer I get very bad reception (I don't know what the hell the builder put in the house to isolate the signal so much…)

Another thing, the OS, I am initially thinking of Windows 7 Professional, since I understand that it is what works best today with a computer of these characteristics.

I have also seen that when configuring it puts front panel/multireader. I don't know if there is any benefit there, but I wouldn't mind an SD memory card reader.

Thanks for the help, I am excited about the new computer, but I wouldn't have any idea what to buy if it weren't for you.

            Best regards.

The board does not come with a wireless card, it comes with an integrated wired network card and a sound card, like practically all of them. If you want to connect it via wifi you will have to install a card for it yourself.

Here you have a pretty complete multi-card: CoolBox CR-500 Card Reader + Bluetooth 3.5" Black CRCOO500BT2 Multi Card Reader

I would also put Windows 7 professional on it.

It made me curious to look at the Vicsangre budget, because he is also going to build a PC from scratch and I just wanted to tell you that the budget didn't seem as high to me as the one you posted at the beginning Sylver, I don't see such an apocalyptic VAT xD. I'll leave you these screenshots so you can see that I'm not making it up:
                Screenshot 1
                Screenshot 2
(I can't make them look totally big without clicking on the link, I guess it's because it's not my post)
I hope I didn't do anything wrong and that they won't charge me a VAT that will make me want to cry, which I think is already included in the price, I mean ? (It's just a sample purchase, I haven't bought the PC yet, nothing until summer)

                    Includes:

                    Intel Core i5 2500 3.3Ghz Box Socket 1155 Price: 150.85€

                    WD Caviar Green 1TB SATA3 64MB Price: 77.97€
Cooler Master Elite 431 Plus with Window Price: 44.07€
                    Corsair CX600 V2 600W Builder Series Price: 56.78€
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 550 Ti OC 1GB GDDR5 Price: 102.54€
LG GH24LS70 DVD Burner 24x Black Lightscribe OEM Price: 16.74€

                    That is: 716.69 +18% VAT 845.70€

                    Mine
                    Intel Core i5 2500 3.3Ghz Price: 178€
                    ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 Price: 101 €
                    Sapphire Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 Price: 139€
                    G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2x4GB Price: 48€

                    WD Caviar Green 500GB SATA2: Price: 78.95 €
                    Thermaltake LitePower 700W Price: 52€

My computer comes out to 634.95€ without the 18%
I don't have the DVD burner, the SSD and the cooler but the processor is the same, my motherboard is better, the DDR3 is a bit better, my power supply is 700W a bit cheaper. What makes the difference is the SSD, for the rest the components are more or less on par

I say that, where do Pccomponentes get that 18% VAT that they don't charge me because all my parts are from Pccomponentes and in the screenshots I gave you there is nothing of that 18% VAT, the added expenses they put were the transport costs.

Sorry, I know I'm being annoying but if I add the SSD to my PC it still costs about 100€ less which I don't understand if my hardware is theoretically better

Come on, you're racking your brains more than you should, if you look closely you can see that for the same processor both have different prices in one budget and another, that's the VAT, in yours it's already applied to each component because you put it in the shopping cart to confirm, notice that his is cheaper and then VAT is added. In your first screenshot you can clearly see the sign at the bottom that says VAT is already applied. And obviously due to various differences your budget is more economical than his. Both teams are more or less on par, although your graphics card is more powerful than his.
Add the SSD and you'll see the price go up.

Well, in the end I managed to increase the budget a little for the components and I stretched a little more and bought myself a "15" monitor BenQ XL2420T 24" LED 3D HDMI/DVI-DL/USB FPS/RTS 9H.L7PLB.QBE Monitor

This is what I ordered in the end. It comes with monitor peripherals and mounting for almost 1500 €. I'll tell you how the new machine is going ?

                            Thanks again.

                            Best regards.

Hi Vic, if you're going to build an entire team, it's better to open only one thread in this subforum.

I think it's too much power supply for a Sandy without overclocking capabilities and a motherboard without SLI capabilities (considering you've put a power supply that would move 2 570 with OC, even with a 2500K overclocked). For a 3D monitor, I would get an LG that uses passive glasses and I trust a PCIe Wi-Fi more.

Pff well it's already ordered and paid for... but I think without confirming... Is it worth it for me to cancel it? I could keep it and in the future use it on another computer...

The wifi card is that I have a friend who is going to put an extension cord for me to put it on the table since most of the time the tower will be boxed in behind and on one side so it can interfere with the signal.

The truth is that the screen didn't give me much trouble. I saw it recommended here and coincidentally a friend had it.. I went to try it and I fell in love with it so I barely considered it.

Thank you very much for your opinion obvione, a shame I couldn't have consulted with you before about the source to have picked another one or chosen the 2500K to do oc on it in the future if I get motivated.

Nothing, if it's a good purchase. If you want to comment on it, they can make changes, but let's just say that all of them are good pieces.

Nothing, it turns out that the payment had not been completed (bank stuff) and I was able to cancel it. I just made the order again, with this power supply: Corsair CX600 V2 600W Builder Series - CMPSU-600CXV2 that Sylver recommended to me back in the day. The monitor is the same and I put the 2500K CPU in case I get the itch ? and I had to change the fan because neither the ninja nor the katana had stock or a restocking date so I put the shuriken rev B.

It's not bad at all, you did well in choosing the Corsair. If you ever do OC it would be better to put a Yasya instead of the Shuriken rev B, but it's not bad. The 2500K is a handful, you'll get the itch before you even unbox it ?

                                      Best regards!
