Tablet PC
-
Hello,
I am looking for a tablet that runs Windows and preferably 7,8". It is essential that it comes with Windows because it is for running an application designed for companies for the management of delivery notes, invoices and it only runs on that system.
I am lost in this world, would you recommend me a brand, model?Best regards!

Are there still?
HP and other manufacturers have a range of 12-13" laptops with touch screens that you can use as a tablet, but what is a small tablet they all come with android, you can always use a remote desktop being on WLAN, of all with the new W8 they will release their tablets but I think it will be by the end of the year.

With windows, as Bm4n says until the end nothing, what I have seen a while ago are ipads with windows7.
Citrix will bring Windows 7 to the iPad
And if not as an alternative and you need windows yes or yes, a small netbook or ultrabook will serve you just the same.

Good morning!!
The thing is that I was looking for something "pocket-sized" because the devices are for carrying in delivery trucks and vans and the worker has to carry it with him to the customer and handle it on site, so the idea of notebooks and mini laptops doesn't convince me. Until now I was using some Ipaq (Windows Mobile) but they are dying and there is nothing similar on the market anymore...
The option of tablets seemed the most logical but almost all come with Android. I have even thought about the possibility of trying to run the application on an Android via Windows emulator or something like that, but I haven't looked into anything yet... do you know if it would be possible?, any application?Best regards!

I already know it's not what you're looking for... but maybe LOOX F-07C
Edit: It seems that it's not sold in Europe, so forget it :wall:

And Windows Phone? Would it be feasible? I don't know if you could get an app for that program or if it exists.

Windows phone maybe it will serve me, I would have to consult with the software developer.
I wanted something like this the thing is that that model marks nisupu… it holds me back because of the issue of guarantees, repairs and so on; I would need a few devices.Best regards!

I think that tablets with Windows like the MSI WindPad, Acer W500 and others are still being sold, but they are all 10" or more, quite bulky and not pocket-sized. Besides, they are somewhat expensive and slow like a netbook, for that same price I would go for an HP with a 12" touch screen. The WinPad Mini S is 7" but I think it is not for sale, besides you would have a big problem with battery life.
The only thing I know of decent pocket-sized with Windows is the Sony Vaio P that is 6", of course it is not touch. There are quite a few of those Chinese ones, but if it is for professional use I would not recommend it.

It's just that with Windows Phone you have Nokia and HTC which have some 4.3 inch screens I think.

"Good from 10" would also work for me... I'll take a look at those two you mentioned :sisi:Best regards!
Edit: About the Windows phone, I asked the company that develops the software but they have not yet replied.

Today I saw at the MM a new Samsung with an i5 10", it runs Windows 7 very smoothly although it's not ideal for using with your finger. If you want to spend a little more than €1000... that's your tablet.

In the end I'm going to try with this model to see how it goes... I'm waiting for the software house to clarify a couple of doubts.
Best regards!
