Well, from my most heartfelt ignorance, I was wondering if it would be possible to adapt the forums to work from this application. The truth is that I increasingly use the ipad and iphone (it's also available for android) to enter the forum and the truth is that with this application it is much more comfortable to access and read the posts.

At least in my case, I would frequent the forum more if this application were compatible. I don't know how complicated it would be to make it compatible or if it costs money or not, but in case it were easy and/or free, it could be done, right?

      Greetings to all ?

I agree with adding the Tapatalk plugin, which saves a lot of bandwidth for smartphones.

I have never used Tapatalk, so I don't know how it will work, but a mobile version like the one Hard2mano has would be great. In my waiting times I check my Gmail on my mobile, I look at Facebook and if I have time I go into Hard2mano, and not into another forum because it is the best adapted to the mobile of all my usual ones.
Anyway, perhaps it's because I'm not very positive, but I think that even if the suggestion is taken into account, I don't see any signs that this, like many others, will be carried out in the short/medium term.

one of the things I have pending due to lack of time is a 'light' theme for the forum for access from mobile devices, but I am dealing with a more than important amount of mess, but if I tell you that it is one of the things I have pending

I have the same thing, I have a shortcut on the desktop of my Android and with just a click I enter the section of New posts.
Making a specific version for mobile is good but we have to be careful how it is done, I also use the mobile to see the H2M page and it can be a good reference point because it also includes the option to be able to see it in "normal version".

                  Best regards.

The advantage of Tapatalk is that it has notifications for PMs, post alerts, etc. It is very complete and faster than a web browser. As for it being paid, well, it's not much money and it's well worth it. (besides, it can also be obtained for free… ? )

Regarding adapting a mobile web version, it is also a good idea.

Well, Tapatalk is paid, but installing it on the forum takes 2 minutes and is free. It even has administration and moderation functions.
Now I don't access the forum from my mobile (with the Transformer I go to full screen via wifi N), but it would be interesting for the future. :sisi:
It has support for all platforms and getting it is easy...

                        I revive the Thread.

Now with the mobiles that the vast majority carry around, when we are waiting in the car or lying around in any place wasting time, we use the internet… I use Tapatalk a lot, even to go to the bathroom xD

Tapatalk for the forum is free, the installation is very simple. The forum admin has to make an account on Tapatalk Forum App - Empowering Forum Junkies on-the-go and once the account is created, you have to edit the forum header and put a line of code in it. It's not rocket science. From there on, everyone can enter the Tapatalk mobile app with their user and password and move between subforums. It's very fast because it doesn't load page stuff, just text and also resizes photos and other stuff to the width of the mobile.

I think it can take 15 minutes to activate Tapatalk on the forum.

About it being paid. The mobile app is paid, but there is also a free one with fewer functions.
Although like everything… I have the paid version without paying for it, there are many pages with applications for android.
And the one who wants to have more functions without paying, but without downloading it from somewhere, well I have also seen some applications compatible with Tapatalk that are free, but I haven't used them because the original works very well for me.

                              You are partly right.

Here comes the morality of each one and the concept of use. This program is available in a free version, which I have also used, I would not pay for the application in any way, I would use the free one, it just so happens that I found the paid one, I tried it and there it stayed… I am not a nun or a priest and I will not be more papist than the Pope, that's why I keep using it.
This is like music and movies... do you really consume the amount that the copyright companies say? possibly not as much is consumed, nor are their losses as great, because many of us would not spend all that material that they account for with losses.

For example, in the old job I had, I had more than 2500 euros in software that was profitable and that was original. And I bought it and that was it.

It is not illegal to install an application on the mobile, I do not use it to work, I have no intention of making a profit with it, I do not see it as indispensable although I like it. And my morality today I keep but I have certain ways of seeing some things, that's why there are things for which I would not pay.

                              Goodbye!!

PD. I just want to make it clear that I'm not one to spend money on apps, but if someone makes a decent one for android and it costs 1 or 2€, I like to buy it. At least you can be sure that there will be people who continue to make decent things, otherwise, trash like this will continue to proliferate.

but if someone makes one under conditions for android and it costs 1 or 2€ I like to buy it at least you make sure that there are people who continue to make decent things or else so much rubbish will continue to proliferate as there is.

I just wanted you to clarify, you have already seen the troll face :risitas: It costs me very little to spend 2€ on an application that I am going to use, more so working as a programmer, given the hours of dedication that it takes to make something decent but that is what MaEBLoR is saying, if it is not for a professional use to which you are going to get a return on the product then more than one will think twice before paying even if it is not 2 euros.

Well, I did pay for the iOS app so I can use it on the iPad and iPhone. I've also had Android, but I don't plan to pay for it, when comparing them to each other, the Android one leaves much to be desired and until they fix it, I don't plan to pay for it. Besides, I think paying for it once is enough...
