The Aerocool that you have proposed is not smaller because it is compatible with m-ATX boards, it simply has more space left over in the case around the board. But you could very well put an ATX format board inside it. If what you have is a space problem, you simply need a small case, which has nothing (or little) to do with the board formats that you can mount in it. There are cases larger than my wardrobe and m-ATX boards can be mounted in them.
There is no need to get tense over these technical issues ;D;D. I hope I have clarified the reason for the insistence of the colleagues on this issue.

I personally wouldn't say anything more until you clarify the reason for the space issue, but... in the first post, khronox1976, you said:

and that is difficult in an M-atx tower, even more so if the main use of the computer is for gaming (unless you don't mind the noise). This, along with what Bm4n was saying, means that it's possible that I don't have to go all or nothing with the M-atx, because in general, they have more cons than pros. It's almost preferable to have an ATX computer under the table (with everything that entails) than an M-ATX on the table.
