Hello! I've been looking for Christian information on UEFI bios. I haven't found much and that complicates my overclocking…
I would appreciate one specific to the Asrock z77 extreme 4

And why would you use a web search engine, when you have a forum where you can get everything done for you.

Brands change the name of many functions in the BIOS, I don't see why it should be different in UEFI.
Personally, I think it will take some time to taste some. However, since you have one in your hands, and you necessarily have to learn how to use its functions, you should be the one to create that guide. Information is not created by spontaneous generation, someone has to write it.
For once, stop being a simple reader and get involved.

              Best regards.

Ok!!! I will try to make that tutorial!! The only thing I hope is some supervision so I don't mess it up!
Although there is something that bothered me… nemo... that in some of my last posts I have tried to help (being humble) and making it clear that I am in the noob phase

and I edit! If you want to see a UEFI you are invited... I am from Sant Boi

I am very happy that you adopt that attitude. Although initially that guide is basic, over time you can expand it. Surely many people, searching for answers like you did, will find the information very useful.
You know that here, to the extent of our knowledge, you will always have help when it comes to solving doubts. As long as those are well-founded and a clear answer is not easily found on the Net.

I didn't understand your comment about the recent posts ¿What do you mean?

By the way, thanks for the offer.;D

no.. nothing that you said that for once I would go from being a simple reader to something more active… and in my last posts there has been some attempt to help (with varying degrees of success). the truth is that I am not very used to forums and you are paying the price... but I will always strive to increase my knowledge, and if I can lend a hand... then we all win! today I was thinking about how to start...
I thought about taking pictures of the bios (the screen;D) making a more technical definition and then another more simple... and also if I put the information little by little or as I progress, or I put it more by blocks.

That is the attitude, to collaborate as much as possible. ;D

Photos always help (a picture is worth a thousand words). ;D

You can explain the different options within each section of the UEFI. Take your time to plan and write it. After publishing it, you can always edit or modify those sections that can be improved.

                      Best regards

Totally agree with everything Nemo has said :sisi:
I'll also tell you that you can be calm when messing around with your BIOS, since if you configure something wrong or put an incorrect value in any section, you can reset it later and return to the factory settings, besides that with the new security systems it is practically impossible to damage a component by messing with the BIOS, the system almost always turns off automatically as soon as something doesn't work as it should ?
I even think there must be some section of "saved configurations" in your BIOS, so investigate a little and save there the configuration that gives you the best result, to return to it once you have messed around with all possible combinations. But the main thing is what you were saying before, first a basic summary with the sections of the BIOS and the functions, and then you will enter configuration values and other adjustments.

                        Best regards!

better that I don't mess around too much with the BIOS so that if something happens you can say: dad Sylver told me that nothing would happen ;D I can already imagine the memories melting due to overvoltage
and if I remember correctly the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 doesn't have dual bios so better capdas understand how your bios works and then mess around with everything you want. and we eagerly await that bios tutorial ;D
                          regards

well I don't know …... let me think :troll:

you post it on motherboards, for example:
                              draft guide ASRock Z77 Extreme4

when you have it finished you edit the title and you're ready
                              greetings

because the other option is that you send it to someone to correct it :troll: but no one will be willing as is logical and normal don't you think? ;D

when you have the tutorial guide or whatever it may be (you do it with the text editor you have) you paste it into "motherboards", and if something is wrong or incomplete, surely some forum member will comment on it, then you edit the post and that's it.

As Franziskaner says, first you write it using a text editor and plan where to put the different images etc,..Then you open a new topic in the corresponding category, and paste the text. You upload the images to an image hosting site like . Then you insert the link of each image in the appropriate place and you make previews to check that everything is correct.
If later you have to touch up something, you can always edit the text.

                                    Best regards
