      Hello little friends!

      Some of my lovely relatives want to give me a laptop, initially they wanted to give it to me for my studies, (something fast, good battery, quiet and cool), they mentioned the:

      Asus K55VM-SX052V
      and the
      Toshiba sat P850

      Honestly, it looks really good, the micro (both i7-3610QM) according to specifications are incredibly powerful (I don't understand anything about laptop processors, I only go by the specifications on the intel page… help me choose the best processor at an affordable price)

      As I was saying, they are two great laptops with a long useful life for this, the problem I see with them is... even though someone might say they are a bit fancy... they don't have a backlit keyboard and the screen is not matte.

      The backlit keyboard is necessary for me... mostly because I can't count the hours I've spent working and doing assignments late at night.
      And the matte screen, mostly because the use I usually give it is in open spaces like libraries (the one at my uni has windows that make you dizzy just looking out) and therefore an incredible amount of sunlight comes in and I HATE seeing myself reflected in the screen and having to strain my eyes to see what the hell I'm writing, some of you might say I should go somewhere that doesn't have light, the problem is that the library, in this case, is ALWAYS full, finding a spot is almost an impossible mission XD (that's why lately I usually end up on the grass of the university hahaha)

      So, that's it, I wonder if anyone knows about a similar team in power (or greater) and with these two qualities (or even if it's not factory-installed, that it can be added, for example, some Asus don't have backlit keyboards from the factory, but you can get one for about 30€)

      P.S.: How would they perform for some occasional gaming? (like battlefield 3, league of legends... etc etc..?)

            if this is the case, the Toshiba Satellite P850-12Z is the best option of the two

            regards

              @ferelxyx:

              if this is it, Toshiba Satellite P850-12Z is the best option of the two

              regards

              Yes, in principle it was that (sorry for not putting the exact model) the problem is the one I mentioned, screen not matte and keyboard not backlit.

              Also now I go and find out that the 3610QM does not support virtualization so it is useless to me, since I work with VMWare all the time….

              Any good value for money option (like the previous two) with a processor equal to or more powerful than the 3610QM but that supports virtualization?

              Regards! ?
