I can't access a forum from my computer

Hello everyone, I am writing to you because I have a problem, as suddenly I cannot access the forum I usually frequent more often from my laptop, Foros Citroën - Índice de subforos

However, I can access the forum platform of my@, log in, and navigate through other forums of my@, but NOT the one for Citroen.

I must say that there are other users who can access the Citroen forum from their PCs. Moreover, I have been able to verify that from another PC connected to the same router as mine, I CAN connect to the forum. But from the laptop, I cannot.

I have renewed the private and public IPs on both computers, and the same thing keeps happening, that is, from the laptop PC that I could not access, I still cannot access, and from the fixed PC that I could, I still can.

I think it is not a problem of Windows Firewall, nor of antivirus, as I already tried to disable them without positive results. I also deleted the cookies from IExplorer, and it did not work. I cannot access it with Firefox either.

On the other hand, I have configured Internet Explorer to access the internet through a Proxy, and with that I CAN access the Citroen forums of my@.

I clarify that I have spoken with the Administrator of the forum and I am not banned or anything like that.

Let's see if someone knows what might be happening.

My OS is W7 Home Premium on the laptop that I cannot access, and Windows XP Prof, on the fixed computer that I can access.

Do you have Windows updated? Do you have IE updated? Have you tried with any other browser?

I can't log in with Firefox either. Windows7 and IExplorer are up to date (they are original).

I have tried putting some Google DNS and it doesn't work either.

The only thing that works is the proxy. I don't know what to do.

Maybe they have changed the IP of the web server, and while the DNS is being updated, some enter and some do not, but by IP it should work.

From the same router to which I have connected by wi-fi the computer with which I suddenly CANNOT access said forum (until yesterday I could), I have another PC connected by cable and with that one I can enter said forum Fassou. By IP I have tried to enter, but I put in the CMD "Ping www.citroen.mforos.com", and it shows 89.17.220.223, and when I enter that IP in IExprorer, it gives me the message "404 The URL you have written does not exist". Try it yourselves.

If your Windows has manually configured DNS settings, and the rest of the computers use others, either manually entered or those provided automatically by the router, you could have the problem I mentioned.

The other option is to clear the browser cache, especially cookies, in case you are being banned from the user you are using.

Changing the DNS on my computer to Google's is something I tried on an ad hoc basis, in case it worked and it didn't work. Now I have the automatic DNS on both computers, and on one it enters and on the other it does not.

I have cleared the history, cookies and cache with CCleaner several times, and nothing.

If you come up with something else, I am still waiting here, because I can't get in.

I enter as an unregistered user, as anonymous and it won't let me. With a friend's user, and neither.

I have installed Ubuntu on a USB stick, I have started the computer with it, and from Ubuntu I CAN access the forum in question, from the same computer that gives me the problem in W7.

To you who understand much more than I do, does this give you any clue? What do I do now?

To me, it gives me the clue that it's clearly and only your windows' fault (or the browser or the internet configuration you have in that operating system), see if you haven't blocked the forum address by mistake.
I would also try installing another browser (there are multiple to choose from) and try to enter from it. Oh, but remember not to import anything from the previous browsers to the new one, maybe something is blocking your URL.
In an extreme case, I would try to restore the system to a couple of days ago, when you could still enter, in case something has been modified or installed recently with or without authorization.

Run some antivirus or some anti-malware. Also, if it still exists, run TuneUp or something similar.

I have done a whole procedure to search for viruses and malware... and no infection came out after several hours of scanning and several programs.

I have installed Google Chrome following your instructions, without importing any options, and the problem persists.

The thing about checking the possible blocking of the forum address, where is it?

Well I've checked and I don't have any URLs blocked, and I can't restore because I have system restore disabled.
I've temporarily disabled Avast, and it still doesn't work. I've removed the Firewall, and nothing at all.

I think it's more of a Windows issue, but I have no sure idea. I don't know where to start.

Any ideas?
