      Hello everyone:
I have the laptop mentioned in the title and I have run into a problem.
Apart from the battery being broken, since I have to have the charger connected constantly, I have run into a new problem.
When I start the PC, a screen pops up, which, along with a beep, asks me to press F1 to continue or other buttons. It starts without problems, but I enter the main screen and every time I turn it on the time is changed and the wallpaper is black.
I have read that it may be the bios battery, but I want to know your opinion that you will really know more about what I have searched.
      Thank you very much
PD. I did not know if this was the right place, I'm sorry if I made a mistake.

When a computer beeps and stops at startup, asking you to press F1 to continue, it is to indicate in the accompanying message, a serious error.

If you can put here the message that comes out, but if you lose the date and time, it is likely to be a battery failure.

        Salu2!

This is what I see as soon as I start the computer. The Toshiba screen loads, but this comes up after. I press F1 to continue.

+1, and if it is not that, we would have to try to see if you can reset the bios. I do not know if there is a jumper that allows you to do it. Almost first reset and if it does not work, then for the battery, so if resetting works for you, you save yourself the trouble of buying the battery, which things are very bad :crying:

The fault looks like it's the battery, because of that error message about the date and time not being set.

It's not hard to change, although they often come wrapped in plastic with two contacts that end in a cable that is connected to the board, and as they will probably try to rip you off by selling you the same one, remember that inside is a button battery like the one that all the motherboards have, so you open the plastic with a cutter and put a new one in ;D

              Cheers!

I hope I don't mess up the disassembly of the pc..

More than in Chinese, it is more common in a watchmaker or similar, and there are decent ones :ugly: the price is not going to be very different.

if what it says is the motherboard battery (battery) two or three euros

I have located the batteries, but I don't know how to remove them, as they are in a very tight and sensitive fitting.
                      Can someone give me advice?

Ah. Are those the two that I have to break? because according to what I see, they act as fixators…

If you are referring to those two parallel plastic circles almost in the center, they are not batteries. The battery is not covered in the beginning, it has to be seen well. I think you will have to disassemble the computer more to be able to see the battery.

This is the battery, isn't it?
What do I do, cut the blue one and put a new one with the same number, right? (Like watches?)

It's attached with a kind of fastener welded both at the top and bottom.
