Mega (megaupload) is launched on January 18

Who doesn't remember Megaupload? many of us will be happy with this news, because the founder of Megaupload.com,
announced that on January 18, he will present the new platform: Mega.

Tim Dotcom, accused in early 2012 by the FBI of piracy, fraud and money laundering, through Megaupload,
did not cross his arms and worked on a new platform, which to the relief of many has been made based on the mistakes of the defunct Megaupload,
so then as a statement from the Mega website affirms “You have the keys to what is stored in the cloud, not us”;
users will be able to upload, store and share photos and files using unique decryption keys,
so that operators do not have access to the files to avoid responsibility for the content”.

Well, it's already up and running for those interested, for now it's just a cloud service like dropbox or google drive for example, where you can buy monthly packages, and MU was working so well.

It doesn't surprise me and I was expecting something like this, I will use it because 50gb for free is very good and they say they will add new features but it's clear that MU died and what was liked also, but well right now with torrents I am satisfied for the use I give it when I had MU I liked it because it burned it but right now I don't need it anymore.

Do you see it as usable as a cloud backup system? I say this because I have a client with a usage of about 10Gb and they want a cloud backup regardless of physical devices because they have several different options, but of course, they are small and a paid system doesn't suit them.
