Photography is one of my hobbies and I must admit that few things make me as happy as picking up my DSLR and going out to take pictures :troll: I take a lot of shots, but when I get one that I like, wow what a feeling :troll:

Pues unas tomas están hechas con la Olympus y otras con la Nikon. Hay que decir que la calidad de Vimeo, incluso en HD desmerece muchísimo de la original. Quizás no he usado un CODEC adecuado para subirlo porque veo que otros videos de portal se ven mucho mejor que el mio (sin artefactos ni ruido de compresión)

La fotografía es uno de mis hobbies y he de reconocer que pocas cosas me hacen tan feliz como pillar mi Reflex e irme a tirar fotos :troll: Tirar tiro muchas, pero cuando me sale alguna que me gusta, uff qué sensación :troll:

Se ha rodado con dos cámaras de fotos. La primera era una Olympus E-410, una réflex digital bastante básica con un 14-42mm f3,5-5,6 que compré en 2008. Y digo era porque en el rodaje de una de las escenas me la robaron y no la he podido recuperar. Debido a esto no he podido presentar los cambios que el otoño provoca en la naturaleza de forma gradual como tenía inicialmente planeado, así que ha salido una cosa un poco distinta. La cámara que ha sustituido a la Olympus ha sido una Nikon D3200 con un 18-55mm f3,5-5,6 y un 70-300mm f4-5,6 gracias a la cual he podido sacar las escenas nocturnas que con la Olympus no habría podido.

Ha sido rodado en algún lugar de la provincia de Jaén y para su realización se han tomado más de 16000 fotografías: la primera se tomó el en septiembre de 2012 y la última el fin de semana pasado. En los algo más de 7 minutos que dura el time-lapse, transcurren un total de más de 62 horas de tiempo real. Las imágenes no han sufrido ningún postprocesado: tal cual han salido de la cámara, se han metido en el vídeo (exceptuando la adaptación del formato de las relaciones de 4:3 y 3:2 de cada cámara a 16:9).

I like night photography, I've gone with a tripod around Madrid ;D and on all the trips I make I try to bring the Reflex, but as it's not always possible, especially if I take cheap flights :llorar: then I have to take a compact, the Panasonic Lx5 which is not bad, especially if the light is good.

In another topix they talked about opening a photography thread and in the end I at least didn't put one... but if several photography enthusiasts get together, then I'm in.

The interval depends. It ranges from 2 seconds to 30 seconds. In general, to clearly appreciate the change in the angle of the solar vectors, 30 seconds is the way to go.

I took the shots with a trigger that I designed and built on my own.

I've seen it (in full) and it's almost hypnotic at times.
But since I have to put objections to everything, well, one is the music (it's better without it) and another is some medium shots, the movement of the branches in some sequences interfere with the harmony of the overall shot, perhaps by editing those particular shots with a smoother transition, or by increasing the exposure time, they would match more (like a motion blur effect).

But come on, it's the opinion of someone who was expecting to see a chick with a good pair of melons and a machine gun in the end. :ugly:

Me gustan las objeciones. Creo que la fuente de información más valiosa que existe es la crítica constructiva. De hecho creo que este ma ha salida algo mejor que el anterior precisamente gracias a esa realimentación.

¿Qué es lo que no te gusta de la música? Quizás el ritmo no es el adecuado con las imágenes, los acordes no pegan o los instrumentos son demasiado estridentes…

Sobre la música no he recibido apenas críticas supongo que por ser lo más personal e íntimo, por eso me interesa especialmente esa opinión.

y otra son las de algunas tomas a plano medio, el movimiento de los ramajes en algunas secuencias interfieren con la armonia del plano general, tal vez montando esas tomas en particular con una transición mas suave, o incrementando el tiempo de exposición, casarían mas (como un efecto motion blur).

Supongo que te refieres a las escenas donde la vegetación tiene movimientos bruscos por el viento. Estoy de acuerdo en que ese movimiento puede llegar a ser molesto y algunas de esas escenas me hubiera gustasdo omitirlas, pero con el material que tenía me he visto obligado a usarlas.

Por otra parte es imposible sacar efecto motion blur aumentando el tiempo de exposición por la cantidad tan grande de luz que había (si hubiera sido al atardecer o por la noche, habría tenido sentido). Quizás se podría haber conseguido con postprocesado pero eso es ya cuestión de gustos.

Me han gustado las flores y las bóvedas estrelladas (buen detalle el de las estrellas en el agua).
Solo por curiosidad ¿Cuantas imágenes has usado?

Han sido algo más de 15000 fotografías y he usado exclusivamente la Nikon D3200. Es una pena la calidad que tiene Vimeo; existe una gran diferencia con el archivo original a un bitrate y resolucion decentes.

As for the music, and since you ask, I would have chosen something softer, more melodic.

Have you tried Soundation.com? You can create your own loops and melodies from patterns and adapt the music to the images.

I thought it was amazing, congratulations.
From my point of view, without having any idea about photos, 2 things: maybe 7 min are too many? I always think that 5 min is the max limit for a video
I did like the music, although I would have liked something equally minimalist but more melodic, like Philip Glass or Max Ritcher…

But as I said, an amazing video

Very beautiful. That's where the experience and the means, that is, the professionalism, are noticed.

That one is from 2011 and it was still a novelty so I let it pass. But I think using Ludovico Einaudi today to make a time-lapse should be punishable by imprisonment. Although it is also true that a time-lapse of nature is limited to seeing night skies, taking out the Sun and the moving shadows and some plants making some movement. It is also normal that the music has been limited to Ludovico and his piano.
