Help with drivers
-
Bad luck, I have one of those Matsonic but with Intel and years ago there were no drivers, they closed many years ago, I would look for the chipset on ViA here in this link look for the KT266A, that's the driver for the chipset and audio I think, mine was SIS the chipset and install everything together.
VIA Download Center - VIA Chipsets - VIA Technologies, Inc.
The same one serves you.
If it doesn't put the audio look here and for AC 97, you will have to look for each component
6 (5.1) channels audio output capability (compliant with AC'97 2.2 specifications)
Intel
AC97(Rev 2.2) compatible, meeting Microsoft
PC2001
http://www.matsonic.com/Computer-Desktop-Support/Models/ms8167c.php
although it says 8167C it sends me from the 8137C+ maybe you find it easier where that 8167C is

Hello Fjavi, and thank you for responding, the board you mention is almost the same but the one I have is
an APLOLO KT266A viaBuilt-in Ac97 PCI audio
Supports built-in AC97 Digital Audio. Dual full-duplex Direct Sound channels. H/W Sound Blaster Pro DOS Legacy compatibility. FM Synthesis for legacy compatibility. Supports game or MIDI portwell I have tried to look at this link you gave me but the truth is I am not very familiar with these things but I will try thanks.

Hello again, I have gone to the page and looked for the chipset, the page is this but I have looked and I do not see where I can download it, the links they give are for images, can you tell me how to download these drivers, thank you. -
You can also check out the website of VIA Arena, where they usually have everything about VIA products.
Salu2!

I think VIA Arena is no longer what it was Fassou

Well, thanks to both of you, but I've looked and looked again, the truth is that I'm not very familiar with these things, but I'm going to have to give up, I've been looking for those damn drivers for 4 days for nothing, it would be cheaper for me to buy a new board.
Thanks -

Look at this I think it's the audio one.
VIA Vinyl Audio Codec 5.80cThis should work on a KT266A
I would try these.
On the Matsonic page if you go to socket A and open down you can see the MS8137 but when you click it sends you to the other with KT333, that's why, but that audio driver says it's for boards with SB 8233A usea that should work for me and the others should work the same, I put one of those on my board a long time ago and they work even if it's for Intel.
From here you could also download even if it's Gigabyte the drivers are similar having the same chipset and the same SB, they usually work.
