Pues el crysis por ejemplo si pudiera ocupar toda la capacidad de procesador con la fisica la IA etc seria interesante, que la destructibilidad del escenario y el realismo pudieran sacar partido de los 2 micros…....
Por otro lado, por ejemplo virtualizar sistemas y estar trasteando con varios a la vez, con una placa asi y unos cuantos discos tiene que ser una delicia.
Yo no veo claro si se aprovecharia o no, que si se aprovechase realmente para enfermo yo el primero, pero todo depende de eso de si "mi software" lo aprovecharia o solo el soft creado para estos bichos.
Mirandolo bien cuanto mas implantado y aprovechable este el GPGPU mas relegada quedara una placa asi para usos de servidor puro y duro.

Está claro que es un bicho para usos profesionales o para entusiastas adinerados que quieran hacer alguna burrada en plan rendimiento extremo y factura extrema de la luz. Para mi si pasa de 60€ ya es un pelín cara :D.
En el plan profesional imaginaros la potencia de cáculo de esos dos Xeon junto a las GPU mediante CUDA. Y seguro que no estamos hablando de un rompe-records, porque sistemas de este tipo no es algo nuevo.

Much less than what any high-end motherboard costs.
So I couldn't resist trying one. It is accompanied by two of the smallest Xeons, the E5506 without HT and at 2.13 Ghz. Let's see how far I can push them
My main idea is to compare it with my current 3930k. To do this, I have run a battery of tests on 12 Games, cinebench, and the always required 3Dmark and Unigine in its two versions.
If anyone wants to see any test included in that comparison, they can say so now. This weekend I will start assembling what has always been and will be…....... THE MOTHERBOARD.........

The motherboard is really impressive, if you have never seen a dual motherboard you have no idea, it is the first one I have seen, my MSI Big Bang is XL-ATX, and it already seemed big to me.
It weighs about 2.5/2.6 Kg, it is amazing. The PCB is also the widest I have ever seen.

After a weekend of fighting with a koolance bay depo, until we understood each other. The team is now ready to install the OS.
The depo installation was mandatory, as the size of the board didn't allow for another type of mounting in the phobya :ugly:. Tonight I'll start installing and testing OC, I'll keep you posted...

Well I've installed the OS, I'm writing from the computer now. The OC is crazy, trying to "center", 2 processors :ugly:, but well, we're starting to get to know each other.
For now 2.7, and they come to 2.13. So at first glance I would say I can do 3+ of them. But from now on comes the "hard part"…...xD
It's too late to update the Mod thread, but I'll leave some pictures here.
I ran a unigine to see more or less the distance I should cut with OC compared to the 3930 @ 4.9 with the memories at 2400. And it gave me 18 fps less, the Xeon at 2.13, and the memos at 800 (Without any kind of OC).
Will the SR-2 cut that distance?

Jotole go for 200 BCLK and the maximum multiplier, those make 4000 MHz, but you have to give it a minimum of 1.26v of vcore, set the memory to a safe frequency and set the UCLK to double the RAM.
What is the maximum multiplier for those CPUs?
Come on, you have to give them voltage, also the QPI or Vtt you will have to raise the voltage a bit.
Those may limit themselves by having a low multiplier and maybe that motherboard can't handle much BCLK, go for 210.

This one won't reach 4000 fjavi, it has a multiplier of 16x, at most I'll push it to 3.4, that's being very optimistic. I'm going for 3.200.
Although the ideal for these motherboards would be a multiplier of 21, from what I've read in the EVGA forums. I didn't touch it last night, tonight I'll go back to work with it to see what we can achieve.
