Test of the Real Nvidia Gtx Titan, single-sli-tri Sli, 4 WAY SLI

Great temperature change from 80 to 32 also to me this graph has me surprised its temperature at idle with the same tower my graphics had these temperatures
GTX 285 - idle 32º
GTX 580 - idle 28º
GTX Titan - idle 17ºRegards.-
Patagonico, those values are with R.L.??? With the Titan at idle you have it lower than me, taking into account that right now in Almeria it makes a good ambient temperature, around 20 Degrees….
I can't wait to get home tonight and start tinkering XD.
Regards.

you live in Patagonia don't you?
It's that I'm not surprised by the cold that must be there, let's say that there you appreciate 4 way of 480, because at least they give heating.regards

What a great beasts you've got, man

Yesterday I put the water blocks on it, and from the little I could test I've gained something in terms of gpu and memories.
The best part is that before you had to give it hell to the fan so that it didn't go over 70-80 degrees under load, and now with the blocks it doesn't go over 32…..On the other hand, I don't know why, when I increase the voltage by +38 one goes to 1.2mv and the other to 1.16mv. I have to test the bios to see if I can squeeze everything out of them.
Testing them independently, the one that reached 1.2 I was able to submit it to 1200mhz which was impossible for me before, remember that mine have an asic of 69%.
I will continue to do more tests............
Regards.
Ruruloko, also mine changed a lot when I put RL on them, well really RL and drivers
Str@divarius mine have Asics 80,1 and 80,5 and both are eVGA SC
-
Good ASICs, at least they look the same… which is cool.
Do you have stock BIOS? How long do they stay stable without throttling?... and, I suppose the voltage doesn't go over 1.162v (if you have them stock, just adjusting TDP and Offset...). For example, majo's voltage goes up "on its own"... I don't know what this depends on....
Greetings!!!.

Patagonico, I'm linking you to a message I posted a while ago:
HardLimit - View post - P4 2.40 Ghz to 3.36, 280fsb, should I be satisfied?be careful with those 17º that it's showing you.

Saludos.-

It's real room temperature 8.9º C, these are measurements that can be taken 1 or 2 times a year

Best regards.
I live in Buenos Aires but I love Patagonia and I visit it almost every year, the thing is that a polar cold wave comes in and as I don't suffer from the cold I can afford to do some tests.
17ºC minimums but 73º in load.
Best regards.
8 or 9º is nothing, some areas in Spain are much colder, here in winter it goes below 0º, we've already caught some colds trying to ocean with the windows open.
Patagonia is amazing, I hope they keep it, civilization ends up spoiling all those natural places.
Best regards

He he that's the temperature of my room, if here in Buenos Aires we also reach 0 and in Patagonia they are usually at -10 or -15ºC.
If it is wonderful I meet quite a few people from Spain who are fascinated by it.
Regards.

Now the data fits well with me. That you are entering winter.
Offtopic: I have a friend who came from Ushuaia to Lanzarote. He went from being below zero to twenty-five above zero. And now he is going to Australia, to forty above zero. He is going to work as a sign painter-graphic arts. Here at 10º he was already freezing, if he turns completely around he will die of hypothermia.
Greetings

Exactly, with 20ºC ambient in idle it is at 28º, I met several people who make those trips from Europe they are amazing.

Already Colorful is doing its crazy stuff, with the GTX, the 780 is one of the baddest in terms of heat dissipation.
Colorful Introduces iGame GTX 780 Kudan and iGame GTX TITAN Ultra | VideoCardz.com
Colorful Readies iGame GeForce GTX 780 Kudan and GeForce GTX Titan Ultra Edition
The Titan looks more normal with the RL block.
Seeing those models, it's no wonder Asus reinforces its boards to hold more weight on the PCIe, any day now they'll come out with a brick.
regards

I ask, I haven't tried any, but do you need that dissipating peaaaasssooo in a titan? You already lose 2 more pci-e slots
-
(sarcasm) I don't know, someone said around here that the heatsink of the Titan and the Series 7 is a wonderful thing, super quiet and super efficient (I suppose that's why some have migrated to the RL) (sarcasm)
-
Man, for me the ideal is to have everything with RL. Less noise, more efficient, but also much more expensive than by air.

Man, for me the ideal thing is to have everything with RL. Less noise, more efficient, but also much more expensive than by air.
it depends on the graphics card, I used to want either an RL or a more efficient cooler with a GTX Env 280, because it was a torment (of temps and noise), today with a GTX660 Gigabyte I am super happy and I don't need anything.
and no matter how much they may swear and perjure that the Titan's cooler is a virgeria, seeing the temps it reaches it is clear that it is not any virgeria.
we have had a very good season in which the assemblers started to mount decent coolers with two and three fans and now back to the past :wall:

Best regardsThose who put RL is because they always do it no matter the graphics, besides they have gotten used to very low temperatures and don't want more temperature, but the heatsink of the 780 and Titan seems to me the best heatsink for a series card, I think it's the best heatsink that has been mounted for series cards, normally in reviews you can see a titan at 80º but it's because the fan accelerates very little, the thing about the titans is incredible that they have such good temperatures for the monster they are and besides being silent.
The thing about those igame is something that the partners do, it gives them a lot of publicity to release such impressive cards but I don't think they need so much heatsink.
I ask, I haven't tried any, but do you need that peaaaasssooo heatsink in a titan? You already lose 2 more pci-e slots
You don't need so much heatsink, the series ones already maintain very good temperatures, easy that they are quite fresher on desktop than your 3870, they do it for marketing because it gives them a lot of publicity to make some model like that, besides they will be limited series only for China, Zotac also releases the Extreme only for that market, but these cards usually don't come here, the 770 yes, the 780 for sure won't come even to Europe, but they make those bricks to demonstrate that they have advanced technology, but those cards in the end aren't worth it for SLI because few boards will have so much space, besides the best heatsinks for SLI are the series ones.
What is true is that a heatsink like that should maintain temperatures almost of RL, maybe it goes a little over 50º no matter how much the GPU works.
Best regards
