My idea is not to spam at all, I was just indicating where I read it, just as an informative, but well, if that is already breaking rules, I respect the decision. I just want you to help me overclock this micro that I have in normal mode, so to speak, without taking advantage of the overclocking that I could be doing...

      Regards

        @gamingpy:

Hello Jotole, how are you? Well, you see, I've read the basic guide that's posted here in the forum and there's also one that's a bit more complete with images.

If you've read that guide, you already know some basic concepts, like it's your first time doing oc, and you have a processor with multi unlocked. We're not going to pretend to go into more than 4.5 Ghz.

Put the oc in manual and the processor's multi to 40 without touching anything. Tell me if it boots up, with a gpu-z monitor the voltage that the board sets automatically and tell me.

Leave the rest of the values in auto.

        Regards….

You messed up by giving it your all on the bitches xD

Besides cpu-z, you have OCCT, it's very good because it shows you the minimum, maximum and graph of the voltage.

That's because it's on automatic, now with that configuration you have, set voltage to 1.33v. Without touching anything else, let's see how that proce... ;).

If you want help, make it easy, write voltage and frequencies or upload a photo in good condition, crop until it can be read comfortably.

The voltage is not bad, there are worse ones. ;). Let's see if we can lower it a bit more. Lower it to 1,31v and do the same test as before.

The temperatures, are at the limit for my taste, of course it's an H100, and passing prime, playing I doubt you'll go over 60º. Which is a more moderate temperature.

But if we are looking for the nice figure of 4.5 Ghz we have to scrape all the voltage we can. Since that H100 will limit our OC.

Updating to 4.3 as I know until what voltage can I lower? because as I understand it the less voltage you use the better.

                                      Wow….!!!, you're learning fast. ?

You have a good Proce, that voltage and frequency are already very good gamingpy.!!!!

The voltage can be lowered until the processor becomes unstable. So the more it lets you, the better. Note that now you have 300 Mhz more, and the same temperatures as at 4 Ghz.

If we want 4.5 Ghz, we will no longer lower the voltage. Try to go up to 4.5 with that voltage. If it is stable, we will lower the voltage again. When we have the voltage more or less centered for 4.5 Ghz, we will touch other values in bios.

I've pushed it quite a bit and I couldn't get it to 4.5ghz, in the next image I show how I increased it to 1.45 volts and without getting results I can't get it to boot, it hangs where it loads the Windows 7 logo. For fear of burning it I left it at 4.3 with 1.250 volts, what do you recommend Jotole and forum people :ugly:

For 4.5, 1.45v is excessive. With the voltages you were using, you should do it at 1.30. Try it with 1.35.

                                          Set Load Line to High.

Cpu current capability I think it was the one that was in percentages, right? I don't remember it from memory, set it to 120%.

Leave the memos to auto, it might be what's causing the problem.

Look it doesn't work with the configuration I put below it hangs at the start of the OS. I think reaching 4.5 would be a real miracle hehe in my opinion to be the H100 as a heatsink I think 4.3 ghz is very good for it ;D
