Nvidia Geforce Experience
-
hello everyone, I'm opening a branch to comment on this application. Today I received the typical email from Nvidia informing me that they have new drivers available, 320.49 to be exact. After seeing that Gigabyte doesn't update the drivers, I opted to download the new ones from Nvidia and, breaking the rule of performing a custom installation, I performed the "recommended" one. Thanks to this bug, I can now enjoy this "spectacular application" ;D
basically, it serves to "optimize" games (only the legal ones :troll:)
of the games I have installed, it only recognizes:
Battlefield 3
Company of Heroes 2 (which turns out to be a Demo)
Portal "
Saints Row: the Third (D11)
Sniper Ghost Warrior
not recognized:
Shadow Warrior Classic
Wolfenstein
the improvements it suggests to me ;D:
Battlefield 3:
deferred antialising from 4* MSAA to 2*MSAA
graphics quality from Ultra to Custom
shadow quality from Ultra to Highnormally, it runs at an average of 45fps
with the program, I gained about 5 FPS and it crashes, which is a bad thing.
I'll keep testing and commenting.

I still believe that it doesn't optimize, what it does is set some predefined parameters according to graphics and equipment, usually standard equipment.
With OC equipment, it's possible to put in a bit more graphic quality from the game or from the driver, I don't really use that because I don't like to install many applications and I keep trying each game until I find the balance between graphics and performance.
The Nvidia driver itself warns you if a newer one has come out, you can even select beta, but for monogpu it's not necessary to update the driver, it's more with SLI and with a single one if a driver gains a lot in performance in a new game like it happened with mass effect 3, it gained a lot of performance from one driver to another.
That application is good for people who usually don't touch the game settings, or who don't know, with a click they put a better configuration.

Fjavi I do not say it is good, nor do I recommend it, for now I comment on it and in the last paragraph I made it quite clear:
by default an average of 45fps
with the program I gained about 5 FPS and it has some freezes that are bad.
I will keep testing and commenting.freezes is not very appropriate it is more appropriate to say lag, but lag that is scary and all.
I am trying to figure out how Fraps works to put the real data of my configuration and of the program in question.
greetings -
I installed the driver with the damn experience, from bad to worse, I gave up the experience,,,,yyyyy,,,great.

I installed the driver with the fucking experience, from bad to worse, I gave up the experience,,,,yyyyy,,,great.
right now I'm fighting with the OC of the Micro (965 AMD) but I think the temporary results of the program are disastrous.
when I have a moment I'll post results.
the agroso mode is a piece of crap, but I want to put data in so that it really shows that it's useless.

the equipment:
amd 965 (4000)
gtx 660 OC (110%)
ram DDR2 800 4G
M4N82 deluxe
tacens Valeo II 700
I took the screenshots with Fraps in the same map and playing with 64 players
unoptimized graphics and with everything on ultra

optimized graphics :llorar:

I say that optimized it makes some jumps so bad that it's better not to talk :llorar: -

graphic not optimized and with everything on ultra

optimized graphic

I say that optimized it makes some jumps so bad that it's better not to talk about it :cry:But what parameters does Geforce Experience change so that the performance changes like this? If everything is already on ultra, it must activate some extra crap to make the performance drop like this.

But what parameters does Geforce Experience change so that the performance changes like this? If everything is already on ultra, it must activate some extra crap for the performance to drop like this.
In the case of BF3, it's best not to install it EVER. These are the parameters that "the gem" changes

Don't ask me why, but the performance drops a lot and it stutters …..
Best regards
