I prefer Made in Taiwan or South Korea, those two countries really give me good feelings in terms of electronics
Of the options, Made in the EU. -
Made in Granada man, good land there

-
It really doesn't matter where it's manufactured as long as it follows the standard of the parent company. In China, you can buy junk or something of quality.
For example, the inks for my plotter are manufactured in Indonesia by Epson. -
I'm from Europe, unless they are hams, which I prefer from Granada. :ugly:

Mini point for European products, especially if they are made in Germany. Regarding what is produced in China, I agree with what has been commented. After all, iPhones are manufactured in China and they strut around showing off their great quality.
Best regards.

Made in China design California I think they put ;D

It says exactly this:
Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China -
Thanks for the answers.
As whoololon said, it has sometimes happened that Western companies that have outsourced production have done so to the detriment of quality. But it is also true that all qualities are manufactured in China: from the worst junk that lasts two uses to the "more classy" equipment like Apple devices.
I'll stick with europe, what are you trying to analyze cobito?
It is possible that in a few months I will embark with some colleagues on the adventure of selling a product with the characteristics that I mentioned in the first post. Technologically it is not cutting-edge, but the combination with the design may make it have a market.
The "problem" of this whole issue is that if it goes ahead, it will be manufactured in Spain. And unfortunately our country does not have a reputation for being technological (I wouldn't say it has a bad reputation but what is certain is that it doesn't have a good one).
On this subject, which is an exclusive matter of marketing, we didn't have the ideas very clear.

…damn, I don't know why but now I feel like the fool who got tricked. :ugly:
Anyway, this reminds me of the Lopez rays from Faemino and Cansado. :risitas:

:ugly:
Not at all. The truth is that the drop in quality is evident in many products. It is also true that there is the issue of programmed obsolescence. Everything will have to do with it.
I spent several months looking and buying components in China (because no matter how "Made in my town" this ends up being, there are components that are only manufactured in China, especially those related to semiconductors) and it is curious because you find generic components of everything. In the example of the mixers you put, I imagine it perfectly: they went to China, there they manufacture motors of such size, such revolutions and with such power that they are used for a thousand applications and those for the mixers said "well, one of these that also come out several times cheaper than those manufactured in Spain".
Et voila, a mixer for a tenth of the manufacturing price in Spain and with Chinese quality standards because if that is the case, those motors are not Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in China. They are Designed in China. Assembled in China.

Cobito, you have the case of the geekphone and BQ.
Regarding China, in an article I read that in 2016 it will be the same to manufacture in Europe as in China, because it is the same thing that has been happening in countries where the labor was very cheap: you sell expensive what I manufacture cheap and on top of that you give me less… and a s...
I think that now China is only 30% cheaper than Europe. Let time pass and what it will dictate is more that the product is of quality than where it is manufactured. I don't know in what tool it put MADE IN USA, until you took out the rubber fist it brought and put MADE IN CHINA. -

-
That was it.
Of course it won't go back to Europe, it will go to India or something like that. Look at the clothes that were made in China, now they are made in Bangladesh
-
Call me crazy or old-fashioned, but there's a lack of a made in japan that for me will continue to be a quality origin in electronics (despite the fact that they hardly manufacture), and a made in taiwan/korea/hongkong that would be a bit more expensive than made in china and is still being manufactured. So they are the typical origins, but the design has nothing to do with it... Look at Apple, designed in California, manufactured in china and assembled in albuquerque or some part of USA (as they intend to do from now on). Even so, I think a made in japan would bring together both things for my taste.
PD. If you want Spanish public, putting that it is designed or assembled here is good publicity, not manufactured because no one will swallow it, now facing abroad it is better made in EU.
-
What I have clear are two things, one, that if I design it at home and manufacture it in China, it is made in China. Apart from that, I wonder how I can sell it to my neighbors who are unemployed. And the second, and it is my opinion that the person who buys an iPhone cares a:mudo: where they made it... which is already a triumph. :risitas:
Regarding the made in Ethiopia thing... time will tell.
Edit: I was going to compile all those things that were and are done well, and that were or are "made in Spain". (Sounds offensive Spain in English, this is not-pain...)
But that list was going to be almost a doctoral thesis, so I think I'll skip it. <:( -

Cuantas unidades pretendes manejar tu?
