Help me choose please!!

Hello everyone:
I don't write from Spain so sorry for the spelling, I'm missing some characters on the keyboard.
I'm going to change my laptop, and I'm not very knowledgeable about it, a friend recommended this forum to me, please help me!!
The thing is that I use it to work with design and rendering programs like next limit, autocad, rinhoceros… and I don't know, what requirements (processor, graphics..) or model and brand support them well.
Also in my free time I play on it and I would like a good graphics to run games like call of duty (the latest)..It must be Windows its operating system, to be able to install the programs..
I've heard something about the alienware that are good but still you have to select your components, and I get lost in models and names of cards, processor...
I like them with the big screen, 16 -17 inches.. the weight doesn't matter too much to me.
What do you think? can you help me?
Best regards!!

Hello, it would be good to know what budget you have, there are some very interesting msi models and I think they are the most economical for performance. The alienware are the best option since you can expand them and build them to measure but they come out expensive.
For graphic design, a good processor and graphics with good bus and good Vram will help you a lot. Always look for an i7 since the calculation per second and its 4 cores with Ht will help you a lot with fluidity.
The interesting msi are the: gx60 this comes out for about 975€ it has a very powerful graphics. The bad thing is the processor, this would be more for games. The msi for design and good performance in games would be the gt60 or the gt70 that already depends on the inches these last ones skyrocket to 1500€
And in the alienware topic, the quality and cooling for me are very good. But prepare more than 1700€
Best regards and if you give us an approximate budget you could help me with more accuracy.

Thank you very much for answering, I have a budget of around 2000 expandable if it deserves it to 2200 I had never heard of msi but as I told you I don't have much idea you are in charge I have looked at them and they look very good, but as I told you, I don't mind spending 2000 - 2200

Look for Ram and processor. Forget about the graphics for that. Design with corel and photoshop with an ati 3450 of supposed 512mb of ram. What pulls me the most is ram, after micro and finally hard drive
Look for one with ssd, and an i7 QM that the ram can be expanded, because some models come capped to only use 8gb.
And with that budget you have to buy any model. I think that for that price you will have few that do not have micro-memory-ssd of the bad ones, if anything the opposite. If you can go to 17" fullHD, you will surely appreciate it.Regards

I don't know the brand of Montain that you put and it seems very good, I live in Madrid, I'll look to see if they have an office and I'll go to take a look because more than photoshop, I'm looking for 3D rendering and many get caught.
I'm very bad at computer language and utilities like ssd, QM but I'll look it up and inform myself.I have also been suggested these models, which one would you choose?

If I were one of those this:
asus_g75vx_ds73_3d_republic_of_gamers because the one at 2700€ is more for the 3 ssd it comes with, unless you need that and 500€ less in your pocket. That's a big team and meets what you say about graphics for gaming, micro and plenty of memory. But all those that exceed 2000€ are some brown beasts.
Anyway, I think it's a rip-off what they ask for those laptops.
Look at mountain, they are based in Madrid. You have the phone on the page and that's it. and they can advise you. Don't go to a big store, they always have a "smart" one.Regards and good luck.

I'm sorry to bother you one last time Garfield but I've been offered this one, what do you think, should I take it or should I look at the ones we had talked about?
Best regards
