This is for mobile phones I think.

It's a silly thing to do, but update the drivers and change the USB port. If you've already done that, activate debugging mode on the phone and it should let you access the SD card.

In "smart" devices it is common to be able to configure different modes of use of the USB connection, or that it simply offers you several options every time you connect it.

These are usually, that it simply charges the battery, that it acts as if it were a USB stick showing its content without more, or some mode compatible with external applications (Samsung Kies).

        Look in the mobile settings.

        Salu2!

Sorry I didn't notice that. I've tried it on several USB ports on the computer and nothing, also with the latest updated drivers and nothing, I only have the debugging left and I'm not exactly sure how to do it

USB debugging is activated in Settings > Developer options.
In parallel to this. It is possible that you have been affected by some type of malware. A simple solution is to do a factory reset, bearing in mind that you will lose all the data you have on the internal storage of the phone. Therefore, make a backup before doing so.

            Kind regards

I have done the debugging and nothing has changed, the phone is updated to the latest software version since it tells me as soon as there is a more recent one. Yesterday I tried to connect it to the PC again and it recognized it but as a camera, even so I was able to access the photos and other things but however I installed the kies and nothing, it still does not recognize it. I installed kies air on the smartphone and it is really good to transfer files to the PC via the router's IP, the only thing is that there is no option to transfer movies or music from the PC to the smartphone. If you can do it by having it connected through the USB cable recognized as a camera, the only thing is that when I go to pass my series of hommeland it says that I probably can't play the video files.
In summary, a mess, what I have left is to do the reset but I am not really sure what data I would lose.

The latter that they won't be able to reproduce already tells me in my note 10.1 and I ignore the message. You can send Kies to hell, it's a piece of crap. If you want to transfer data from a phone to the PC or vice versa, you can use AirDroid, which does exactly the same thing and doesn't take 3 days to start up or consume RAM or anything else.
And my note recognizes it as a multimedia device.

                  Regards.

Basically, everything you have installed or created on the phone since you bought it is lost (hence the factory reset). This means that all the apps you have installed after that are uninstalled (you don't have to buy the ones you have bought again, but you do have to install them), all the photos, music, videos or documents that you don't have saved on the SD card are deleted and the customizations (wallpapers, widgets, etc.) suffer the same fate.
The best thing to do in these cases is to make a backup with the Samsung account. After the reset, you reactivate the Samsung account and all the settings and apps go back to where they were.

                    Best regards

I was considering that option and before you mentioned airdrop I tried kies air and it's not bad. Which one do you recommend of the two?

I like Airdroid much more because it doesn't depend on having Kies installed. With a browser and the device on the same wifi, it works. I think the new version allows you to do it even if they are not on the same wifi, but since I have never used it that way, I don't know what to tell you.
But it allows you to do everything with the device and it's free and compatible with everything. You can't ask for more

I took your advice and installed AirDroid and the truth is that it's a marvel, I like it much more than Kies and it works like a charm. Thanks for the advice

I suppose you are aware that part of your problem has not been resolved, right?

With Airdroid you can manage your files much better than with KIES (infinitely better I would say), but the drivers on your computer still can't recognize your smartphone. This, in principle, should not worry you if you are not going to tinker with it or put any ROM on it with Odin, but if one day it fails and you need to use Odin, it is very likely that it will not recognize it and therefore you will not be able to flash it.

I am aware but what do I do?, do I have any other option, if it is a pain in the ass that a smartphone of four hundred pico euros and the pc does not recognize it. But well that's what there is, for now I am not interested in the issue of flashing it because I do not master the subject and there is always time to be left without a mobile, for the four multimedia things and so on I have enough.

Try directly by uninstalling the drivers you have from Samsung and putting the ADB drivers from Google.

There is a power struggle between the generic drivers that Windows installs for Samsung and those of KIES.
Possibly in one of the updates, Windows has wiped out KIES.

The ideal thing now is to uninstall KIES, restart, run a registry cleaner (ccleaner, Gladys you use, etc). Now you reinstall Kies and restart, then disconnect the PC from the internet, start KIES and, with the phone active, connect it with its original cable to a rear USB connection of the computer.
Check that the PC has detected it with the characteristic USB connection sound (the ding-dong). Wait a few moments and let it finish recognizing it.
If everything has gone well, it will have already detected it, in case not, use the connection tools of KIES. When it has connected correctly, you can already reconnect to the internet.

                                    Goodbye
