Problems when trying to view dvr in IE Windows 7
-
Hello friends, I wanted to ask if you can help me with the dilemma I have. I have already searched a lot but so far I have not been able to solve it. I will tell you how things are going. I want to access certain cameras through the local address. Everything works until the welcome screen and login, but nothing more. After that, an error occurs that is as follows.

As you can see, it says that Internet Explorer has stopped working. I have already tried viewing in compatibility mode but still nothing... I must clarify that on some computers it appears and on others it does not, and to be honest, it is a bit strange because the versions of IE are the same. Any help please? Thank you for your help.

Have you tried another browser to rule out that it is a problem with Internet Explorer?
-

Try adding the URL to internet explorer's trusted sites to see, I've had this happen before with activex

Unfortunately, the problem persists. I had already tried that before, but it didn't work. I also changed the permission level of the ActiveX for unsigned drivers to Ask, and that didn't work either.
The thing is, when I log in, it seems like the video from the cameras will come up, but then, at the moment, it seems like it hangs and says that Internet Explorer has stopped working.

Do you have all the updates for Windows and IE installed?

And have you tried updating to ie 8, 9 or 10? -
Do you have all the Windows and IE updates installed?
The truth is that it is the second time I am trying it, the first time I also thought about it, so I had to update my win7 service pack to be able to install the latest ie with its corresponding updates, but it also did not work, it gave me the same error message, now I have reinstalled win7 but I only use the 8 that comes with the cd when installing everything, I am working with a virtual machine.

According to what you comment, there are two possible sources for that error:
· An old version of IE.
· The system's call to a µinstruction that is not available on your virtual machine. What operating system are you running the virtual machine on? What hardware are you using? What virtual machine do you have installed?

If it is an old version but it also came out the same once updated, I am now updating it again to try back with the latest IE, I have the virtual machine on a Windows 8 6gb of ram core i5.
The virtual machine installed is a Windows 7 32 bits Enterprise 2GB RAM

Make sure that in the BIOS/UEFI you have Intel VT-x enabled.
Other than that and having both the host and guest systems and Internet Explorer fully updated to the latest version, I can't think of anything else.

Well thank you very much I will see what happens, the thing is that in the BIOS of the machine where the virtual machine is running I do not have the BIOS password since I bought this laptop used and I do not have any more contact with the person who sold it to me and I will not be able to verify if it has it activated, but I will do the following I will try this configuration on my desktop PC to see if there is some kind of solution (accessing through a public IP) to this anyway thank you both for your time.
