Toshiba L500-22r matte LED display

Hello,

I have been left with a Toshiba L500-22r laptop, it has a problem with the screen (LED), basically it happens as if it has lost almost all brightness, the computer is on and you can see things on the laptop screen but as if it were missing a lot of brightness. If I connect an external monitor it works without any problems, do you know what the problem might be?
I have the laptop disassembled, I have checked the connections and they seem to be fine, any ideas?

Check the connection of the inverter (it is usually located at the bottom of the screen, between the hinges).

If the connection is correct, it will be faulty and you need to replace it.

I have found the inverter, it's at the bottom back of the screen, the specific model is: LTN156MB6WLEDV1.2
How can I check if it's working correctly?
