Cooler Master Seidon 120M. New integrated liquid cooling.
-
The new Cooler Master Seidon 120M promises superior performance to similar systems thanks to the design of its waterblock, made of a single piece of copper and with microscopic channels for an optimal distribution of the coolant flow throughout the entire heatsink, thus improving the heat transfer between the block and the liquid. As is usual in these systems, the block itself houses the water pump that will move the liquid throughout the circuit until it reaches a simple 120 mm radiator cooled in turn by a fan of the same size with manual or automatic speed control.
To put it into operation, you only need to install the block on the socket, compatible with most AMD and Intel sockets, including the new FM2 or LGA2011, and fix the radiator inside the case, since the liquid and tubes come pre-installed.
The Cooler Master Seidon 120M will be available from December, with a recommended price of 64 €, an amount similar to that of a high-end air cooler

Good option especially for the price, in terms of effectiveness it can never perform the same as one with a double radiator no matter how many micro slots it has.

My doubt with these bugs is always the same, if they are sealed and pre-sealed how do you change the liquid? Or are they disposable?

There is everything, some are sealed and others come with a small cap… this one must have a cap otherwise I don't know what that is in the top corner.

RegardsIf like almost all hardware, when it reaches the end of its life you recycle it or throw it away, since it is no longer useful. The manufacturer offers you a five-year warranty. In this case, Corsair offers its series with a closed circuit, which cannot be tampered with without losing the warranty. In fact, you don't have to worry about the liquid, if there are problems RMA.

I find it very beastly  I have never had an RL but from what I have read, I understand that according to the use, every year maintenance is needed (refill, clean, purge circuit, etc.) What happens, that these guys have solved all those problems? :troll: I think not, but it must be fun, you buy one and the first thing you do is weigh the CPU burn with video and image captures and a year later you do the same and start the RMA process :ugly:
P.D. I am becoming very eco-friendly to buy more gadgets to use and throw away

I find it very beastly  I've never had an RL, but from what I've read, I understand that depending on the usage, maintenance is required every year (refilling, cleaning, purging the circuit, etc.). What's going on? Have these guys solved all those problems? :troll: I don't think so, but it must be fun to buy one and the first thing you do is weigh it down with CPU burn with video and image captures, and a year later you do the same thing and have to deal with the RMA :ugly:

Best regardsWell, according to the manufacturer, it guarantees a lot of hours of work. With a conventional cooling system, you have to do maintenance tasks, purge, change fluids when appropriate, etc. According to the manufacturer, they have solved this problem. jejejejjeje. Well, without going into whether it's true or not, I have friends who have installed kits in commercial equipment, such as Dell, and they have been using this type of kit for three years, playing chess (which is putting a lot of strain on the processor and the chipset, since it comes with overclocking) and they haven't had to do any maintenance. It works perfectly. And if we become eco-friendly, I think silicon…..

The topic of maintenance as you say.....ha ha ha regarding temperatures, I would like to see a comparison of a year? For that price I am unable to put together a decent RL
On environmentalism.... it is not me who says it is disposable but the manufacturer
And I think we already have enough with them selling us products with a programmed death for us to also buy certain things that are "disposable" they sell spare parts? Without losing the warranty?
The contribution is good, the product....
I, even though I am from high-end heatsinks, would not buy that one. But to each their own.
Regards
PD I am fed up with the mobile -

They are disposable, although they come prepared to suffer less evaporation than a conventional RL, so you shouldn't have a problem with the liquid in about 5 years.
Some models come with a sealed cap for refilling, which using it obviously voids the warranty.
Salu2!
