Overclock Corsair RAM to 1866 Mhz
-
I have a small problem: a while ago I set my memories to 1866 Mhz and they were working perfectly. Then, after a while I reset the BIOS and tried to set them to the same speed again, but I couldn't remember the configuration I had and it turns out that they are set to Single Channel, recognizing only 1 memory. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? I've also tried updating the BIOS and nothing.

My PC is as follows:
Processor: AMD FX 6100 4.1Ghz
VGA: XFX HD 6850 Black edition
Memorias: Corsair Vegeance 1600 Mhz 8GB
HDD: 500Gb Hitachi 7200RPM
MOBO: Asus M5A78L-M LX3

Remove the modules, carefully clean the dust from the slots and try again.
Best regards

Does the bios recognize them well? -
Does the bios recognize them well?
Or said in another way so that it is not confused with an object, did you see that it only recognizes a module in Windows, or does the bios and the POST also only recognize a module?
I understand that you did a reset, not an update or rewrite of bios.
Why did you need to reset it? Was it doing oc?
Sometimes the reset resists and you have to repeat it, or do it in a thorough way.
Salu2.
