Help igdkmd64.sys driver problem

Hello, I have a Hp Compaq 6720s laptop (Intel Core 2 Duo T7500, 2Gb Ram) and the problem is that after installing Windows 7 Professional SP1, something strange happens with the Intel GMA X3100 graphics driver, let me explain.
When I start the laptop from 0 (off), once it reaches the Windows login screen, the screen does strange things until after about 1 min a blue screen appears, the igdkmd64.sys driver error and it starts to dump to disk and restarts, once it restarts it starts up correctly and it always happens when the laptop is off, it doesn't happen when it restarts. It occurs in Windows 7 32/64bits, Windows 8 and 8.1, so it seems to be a problem with the driver or the graphics card itself not working properly but it's strange that when it restarts it works normally, any ideas what could be happening?

The drivers are updated with the latest ones available on the Intel website (8.15.10.1930), although it also fails with the compatible ones that Microsoft puts.

Does anyone know what could be happening?

If you search on google for igdkmd64 you will find info about bsod (blue screen of death) due to that driver.

There are many cases of error with that driver but I can't find a solution anywhere, I have tried several things that are recommended (DLL Suite, update drivers...) but none work, it keeps failing.

BIOS updates or old video drivers tested?

The BIOS is up to date, where can I download old drivers for the Intel GMA X3100 graphics card??? On the Intel page I only see the latest ones, which are the ones I have installed, although as I mentioned before, when I freshly formatted the laptop, Windows itself installs some compatible ones and they have the same problem, although it's always worth trying other drivers just in case.
