      Hello comrades!

Once again I appeal to your wisdom..

Well, that's it, I want to build a team with the liquid cooling corsair h100i and I first thought of a NOX VZ, but researching.. I saw that it is not compatible and that you have to do some mod..

I have looked at Zalman, but I am not sure.. so if anyone can guide me.. about some compatible case in the style..

      Thank you very much!

            Hello fellow users!

Once again I appeal to your wisdom..

So, I want to build a system with the Corsair H100i liquid cooler and I first thought of a NOX VZ, but after some research.. I found out it's not compatible and that you have to do some modding..

I've looked at Zalman, but I'm not sure.. so if anyone can guide me.. about some compatible cases in the same style..

            Thanks a lot!

Hi, I have a Corsair Carbide 300R and I swear it's compatible with the H100i, at least I'm pretty sure the lower model is too. I'm very happy with the case (I bought it second-hand for around 60€ if I remember correctly) so I recommend buying a case from this brand, you'll know for sure it's compatible with the cooler and you'll get a plus in quality that you'll appreciate in the long run.

The customer service is great and the overall build quality is just awesome, it's worth spending a few more euros and going for the combination.

But hey, that's my opinion, and I'm not getting paid by Corsair lol

              Thanks Elfo,
I'm going to check them out.. I've been doing some research and a lot of people are having trouble mounting them.. at least I've already seen problems with the NOX and the Zalman depending on the motherboard..

              ?

I have the Nox Coolbay TX case and I put the H100I in with the fans on the outside of the case and the radiator on the inside. I had to touch up a little bit the front where I mounted a fan.

If you want, when I get home I'll send you photos.

                I hope it helps you

in h100i no, but I have mounted the h110, which I think is bigger, and I tested it in the following cases:
                    Corsair Vengance C70
                    Corsair Obsidian 900D

I also tried to mount it in a Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced but without looking at the measurements for the fans, and it didn't fit, but I think that for the h100i it will fit you, since the h110 are 2 fans of 140.

Come on, I don't think it's that complicated:

                      Corsair H100i:

                      • Radiator dimensions: 120 x 275 x 27 mm
                      • Fan dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25 mm (x2)

Now just look in the description of the case, box, or whatever we want to call it, if it has room for radiators and the dimensions it offers.
                      Example:
Air Top cooling system: 120/140mm fan x 2, or 200 mm fan x 1, which is what the one I have now offers.

Edit: I was thinking, what else does the Corsair H100i bring that the Noctua NH-D14 doesn't have?

                      ...me lo dicen las voces...

it simply gives more peace of mind to the average user when it comes to overclocking (having liquid cooling), although with that noctua, it has nothing to envy even to the h110

? …bueno, the point is that, at this point, it's not difficult to find cases prepared to mount radiators; almost all already come with the hole in the upper part. In this case, for widths of 120 mm. and 140mm.

                          !

And sorry for using Tinypic, but the people from Imageshack have just gone to the dark side. :nono:

Not all cases with the prepared hole.. work, because when the hoses come out the sides.. that's why the question..

It's proven that the Noctua is a very good heatsink.. and as you say, nothing to envy the H100i, but my choice for the liquid is because it doesn't take up as much space on top of the cpu and inside the case, more space.. better ventilation, I won't have problems with the RAM heatsinks.. I think with more load.. the RL is more efficient, it's the logical step in the evolution of cooling..

But as you say.. in terms of temperatures.. nothing to envy, but I'll stick with the RL.
