      Hello, well I have a friend who has a not-so-new computer and he would like to change the graphics card without spending a lot of money so he can play some games from the last two years for now.
      His processor is a Core 2 Quad Q8200 2333 MHz, motherboard Asus P5KPL-CM and the power supply I think is generic.
      The idea is to put a graphics card that is economical and does not bottleneck with that processor and motherboard and also that the power supply would be good with that graphics card. I know it's a lot to ask but things are really bad ;D
      Regards to everyone

        With that equipment, a GTX750 is a good option, and if the power supply is half decent, it could last.

        But if what your friend is looking for is a bargain, he can buy something like the VTX3D 280X that they have on offer at Pixmania for 210€ + Shipping :mudo: although he won't get the full potential out of it.

        Salu2!

        PD: The offer ends in just over 24h.

          Hello,

          How much ram does it have? If it has more than 4gb, I think it can mount an R9 270 for example. In the absence of a good power supply, I would replace it with a Corsair CX500 which is already good enough to support that graphics card.

          Best regards

            @Sylver:

            Buenas,

            ¿Cuánta ram tiene? Si tiene más de 4gb, yo creo que puede montar una R9 270 por ejemplo. A falta de una buena fuente, yo la sustituiría por una Corsair CX500 que ya va bien para apoyar esa gráfica.

            Saludos

            Tiene un modulo de 2 Gb y otro de!Gb de los dos slots que trae unicamente esa placa base, por lo que no aprovecha el dual channel que trae. Aun asi que fuente de alimentación que sea calidad precio moderado me recomendais para por ej una GTX 750 o una Sapphire R7 250 1GB GDDR5

              @boncoe:

              It has a 2 Gb module and another of!Gb of the two slots that only that motherboard brings, so it does not take advantage of the dual channel that it brings. Even so, what power supply that is moderate value for money do you recommend for, for example, a GTX 750 or a Sapphire R7 250 1GB GDDR5

              That Corsair that I have put to you is moderate price and high quality. For that equipment it goes more than well.

              Greetings

                I've been looking and I've seen a Asus Radeon R7 250 1GB GDDR5 graphics card which they say works well with a 300W power supply, I don't know if this is true.
                Apart from this, I've seen a B-Move 600W power supply which has more than a hundred comments on Pc Components and they all speak wonders of it. Also a Tacens Mars Gaming 600W for 26.95.
                What do you think?, I remind you that he wants to spend the least to be able to update the equipment a little since it will be for internet use, play some games of the recent ones but with very moderate levels of detail

                  If the power supply can end up in a gaming rig I would go for an Enermax NAXN or a Silverstone Essential 500W at xtremmedia. You get 400W at 12V and acceptable quality for 40 euros.

                    If you want a new power supply, at least 550W considering that it stretches the components for so long, although if you want concrete recommendations:

                    Enermax NAXN 650W 80Plus Bronze on xtremmedia.com for 73.40€

                    And look at the purchase options in a physical store if you have franchises nearby (App, Infocoste,...) that save you shipping and have offers.

                    Salu2!

                    PD: do not buy power supplies from B-Move or Tacens :nono:

                      +1 if you don't want to spend a lot of money, those power supplies are fine. Regarding the B-Move 600W if there is no other option, you can buy it and it will last with a low-end graphics card, but better one of the ones the fellow mentions.
