Duda with PSU and GTX670 Windforce 4GB
-
Hello everyone, I wonder if someone can give me a hand or a boost jejejejej A week ago, almost 2, I bought a PSU from the brand Corsair, an RM650, which I have checked both under load and without load. Under load, it usually hovers around: +3.3v = 3.260 +5v. = 5.000 +12v. = 12,000 or 12,096 Without load: +3,3v = 3,289 +5v. = 5,040 +12v. = 12,196 or 12,096 varies every x seconds Now my doubt is that I have been noticing less performance in games like drops in frame especially in bf4. I swear that with my old power supply this did not happen, unfortunately, I do not have it anymore Is it possible that this is due to the PSU? I do not have shutdowns or reboots or blue or black screens and the motherboard's secure has never complained. The equipment is 100% stable. So that's it, let's see if someone can help me because this has me puzzled. Edit; I forgot the power supply's +12 rail delivers 54 amps, I think it should be enough. -
Hello
At first, it has nothing to do. Moreover, if according to what you have said in other threads, your old power supply gave less voltage than required on some occasions, the strange thing is that your equipment performs worse now that you have a precise and more constant voltage.
In any case, check key components like the graphics card or the hard drive, run some tests on both or make sure that the graphics card is correctly mounted after the tinkering that has been done on your equipment after changing the power supply and such.

Buenas

It's that as far as I know, the font can't cause fps drops in games, it has no relation. It's something that happens directly through the graphics, the hard drive and/or the drivers (software). If you can, borrow another font to try, just to check it out for yourself.

Unfortunately, there is nothing less reliable than the "eyeball".
If, in its day, with the old font, you had passed a benchmark and, with the new font, you were to do it again, then we would have something reliable to work with.
If you can set up the old one, set it up and pass a benchmark, and then pass the same one at the same level but with the new font.If there are notable discrepancies in favor of the old one, we will already have a reliable basis on which to discuss. But a priori, my computer does not run faster by having one font or another, in any case quite the opposite.
