      @Sylver:

      That error I think was sometimes attributed to possible problems in the disk connection, either in ports or in cables, because in one of mine I also had it on alert and I was checking it.

      Greetings

      Just a question I have, does that error still occur or does it appear because at some point it happened and the error was recorded? <:(

        They are counters, which tell you how many times it has happened, so what you have to look at is that the value does not change.

        If you are already using another port, or even another cable, then test to see if you experience the problem again.

        Salu2!

          The error that I remember has always given me and has never changed its value at least until now.

          The problem persists even when changing the cable and/or port.

          Salu2

            Moving on to more complicated and invasive actions, try using another SATA drive with the same purpose, as a supplementary drive to install the game and check if it fixes the stuttering. This could test the "innocence" of the drive if there is a micro-timing mismatch between the mechanical drive and the SSD as I originally speculated.

            Another option is to format the partition that is causing the problems (you said you defragmented it), and start the process over.

            Regards

              I have already managed to get another hard drive to see if the same thing happens, tomorrow in a while I will try it and I will tell you.

              Greetings

                  Hello, well I have tried another hard drive, a pretty old Maxtor 250 gb SATA, that is, freshly formatted and without partitions, I have not been able to get anything better :alone:, the thing is that practically the same thing happens, noise from the heads from time to time and micro jerks, so it seems that Sylver is right about the lag of the ssd with respect to normal hard drives.

                  Of all when I can I would like to remove the partitions from the other drive to see if by chance this improves, but it seems that it will not be so.

                  Regards

                    I can see it coming, because the disk is apparently healthy and when you install the game on the SSD you don't have that problem... It could be that the SATA disk you have tried was too old and worked with a lower transfer rate, then it would only make matters worse :ugly: In any case, as long as the disk doesn't give you problems for storage, I would keep that unit exclusively for that purpose, and I would be installing and uninstalling the games progressively from the SSD as you need them, because this way you will get the best gaming experience. Best regards ?
