Before I give you a bunch of greetings since it's been years since I last connected, I'll just say hello to everyone.
Well, after buying the new equipment, I had the previous one for 10 years and I've already bought the motherboard

      • eVGA Z170 FTW
      • eVGA Titan graphics card also
      • PRO M2 SSD
      • And a Samsumg SSD850 EVO 1TB

Well the problem is that I tried to install W7 from scratch and it asks for drivers (with w10 no problem) like back in the day when W7 started and it asked for diskettes for RAID drives etc.

Has anyone had problems like mine, not those that come in the post and write nonsense to make you look stupid.
Look, probably when some of those were born they didn't know who they were….. I already had a computer in my hands,
But anyway, this is the anger that comes up when people like that come out and don't show their face

I'm sorry for all this, maybe it was unnecessary but I'm just so frustrated

Greetings to the healthy people of the forum, the ones who are up and down

PD. I've solved the problem in case anyone wants advice

At this point it's silly to say it but... the drivers are figured out before installing a new OS. :wall:

On the EVGA page you have all the drivers and BIOS for the motherboard and graphics.

        For the Z170 FTW and W10 64-bit:

        • BIOS v1.05
        • .NET v4.5
        • Audio driver v431
        • Chipset driver v10.1.1.7
        • Chipset and network driver v30.100.1519.07
        • Intel RAID driver v14.5.0.1081
        • Intel Management Engine (intel ME) driver v11.0.0.1158
        • Intel HD Graphics driver v15.40.3.4248
        • Audio v01.02.00.854
        • Network v8.5
        • RAID v14.5.0.1081

        EVGA Titan for W10 64-bit:

        • nVidia graphics driver v359.06

Check the manufacturer's page for more information.

        Regards. ;D ???

Try to correct the spelling mistakes first majo…

As for the installation, it is almost certain that your motherboard does not support your M2 drive or you do not have it correctly configured in Bios.

Another thing and although it is already late... I would not have bought that EVGA motherboard :nono:... it will only give you problems.

The graphics card does not matter because in the end they are all clones and they leave little to change for assemblers but the Bios of the EVGA boards are currently a real mess... I'm sorry but that's what is being said and unfortunately Gigabyte, which has always had a good reputation, has recently been called into question due to some models... beware, I'm not talking about the construction... I'm talking about the bios.

So... if it is not because you finally only have the bios incorrectly configured, you will have to wait for EVGA to patch the Bios to recognize this model of your M2 drive... so we cannot give you a solution :nono:

Unfortunately, espinete is right again. :fuckyea:

I've been looking for something more to contribute, but the situation I found is as follows:

Apparently there are a number of users with the Samsung SSD 950 PRO M.2 on that motherboard (also with the Classified) and, as of today (using BIOS v1.05), EVGA has not been able to give a satisfactory answer (it is possible to make it work afterwards as a storage unit, but not as a boot drive).

I don't know from the brevity of your message if you have managed to boot the computer and have overcome this step, if you are referring to a driver that the OS asks for when starting… what is known is that both the drivers and the latest BIOS patch are linked above. There is little more we can do.

Well, yes: I suggest you give a slap to the one who recommended that motherboard brand to install that SSD. :osvaisacagar:

            Edit: Try the following:

            • Update to UEFI BIOS v1.05 if you don't have it.
            • CSM disabled.
            • M.2 support enabled.
            • Support for Sata disks enabled.
            • Compatibility with Windows 7 disabled.

I don't know who will give me so many problems, the only one I've had is that I haven't been able to install W7, otherwise I have all those drivers you mention installed from the very beginning, I appreciate the waste of time. As for the mistakes, you will see that I make few mistakes if I'm not in a hurry, but I'm not going to start explaining my life because everything was written wrong and running.
              Merry Christmas

The computer works like a rocket I assure you and I have the M2 as the boot drive and the first thing I did when I assembled it was to update the BIOS and I have been running it for a while now and without any failures of course when I have time.
