      I detail components that work
      AMD 965
      GTX660
      UNVERIFIED COMPONENTS
2 hiperX fury 1066/1600 bought on amazon
corsair RMi 750 from amazon also
Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 Reconditioned FROM PC COMPONENTS
previously I bought a gigabyte 970ud3p rev 2 theoretically new because of store closure :wall::wall:
when I connected it, the fans spun but there was no video signal, I connected the speaker (which didn't come)
and there were no beeps, so I returned it and bought the one from PC COMPONENTS

my problem is that after assembling everything with the 990, the motherboard doesn't start up, the fans don't spin and of course there's no video. I've tried disconnecting all the hard drives and CD and nothing. I've disconnected everything, leaving only the micro, a memory and VGA and nothing. The motherboard doesn't start up and as it doesn't start up, it doesn't beep either
      suggestions
      regards and thanks
P.D. when I test the fan of the F.A it only spins for about two seconds

But are you still working on this?… At this point, I thought you would have already done the filming. ?

Well, it's normal for the power supply not to turn on the fan, but it wouldn't hurt to test it on another computer. If it works, the ideal thing would be to test the components on another PC to rule out that they are broken or that there is incompatibility.

If the power supply works on another PC, from my experience, it points to the RAM not getting along with your motherboard, so the solution is either to change the RAM or change the motherboard... since you have already changed the motherboard, I recommend trying with another RAM.

It could be that those modules have chips on one side only and therefore are 8Gb modules capped at 4Gb because they have half the chips... with that, the manufacturer saves money, but you can run into the unpleasant situation of incompatibility as if you were mounting 8gb modules... which, as I mentioned before, your CPU controller doesn't support.

I never had any compatibility issues between a motherboard and some memory, and it didn't beep at all

today I will try with a micro 8350fx to rule out problems
if it doesn't get solved I will have to try other memos
                G skill?
                greetings and thanks

It could be solved or not…. GSkill are good because they use Samsung chips but make sure they are valid for 990FX... if the XMP profile is optimized for Intel you will have problems with the secondary timings... which is where the incompatibility problem arises since if you use the standard JEDEC there should be no problem... except in this case. ? Anyway, as soon as you plug in the FX you will know. I would go for some Crucial... well in fact I have some Crucial and they are a rock... in fact all the home computers have Crucial memos and zero problems. If you want to check the compatible models for yours this is your link… you can get them directly from them or search for the reference on Amazon... otherwise Alternate I think also has crucial.

Well, grab all a song and hit yourselves on the feet at the same time as I.
                        It wasn't F.A.'s fault.
                        It wasn't the micro's fault.
                        It wasn't the memory's fault.
                        It wasn't the motherboard's fault.
If you connect everything and press the power button and the fans don't turn...
                        What could it be?

The 24-pin molex from the power supply connected backwards on the motherboard.

My case was when the AT format was around. That Gigabyte was tough, I still have it.

Did you connect the 8-pin ATX?

In fact it was the old one, the 20-pin one, and they fit perfectly in both positions, you have to look at the anchoring tab ?

And at the level of operation nothing breaks because the cables that allow the flow of current do not coincide, so it does not start or anything :sisi:
