I recently read this, and as I didn't know where to put it or how to react, I'm leaving it here for you to discuss (if possible).
Ubuntu Bash shell natively in Windows 10.

It's only bash, but these things have to be seen in the long run. I don't know, it sounds like the Yogulado to me... is it cursed?

Every time there is a news story about Microsoft's sudden friendship with Linux (and there have been quite a few in the last year), only one thing comes to mind: Adopt, extend, and extinguish.

I had read that Microsoft was releasing a free update in the summer for Win10, called Anniversary or something similar, and that it included bash, but if Canonical is involved, things are already looking different <:(

Sorry for the reflote, just to let you know that build 14316 is now available for "insiders" which includes bash.
