A contest is called for the design of the new HardLimit logo. Of the proposed logos, two votes will be held. The first will contain all the proposals and the second the two most voted in the first round. In case of a tie in the first round, a third round will be held and so on. The winner takes 5 writer points.
The technical conditions are mandatory, but not the aesthetic ones:
- The logo must have dimensions of at least 1080 on the vertical side and at least 1920 on the horizontal side.
- The base colors are orange #CB6735, black #000000, gray #F2F4F6 and blue #40587B.
- The logo will consist of a set formed by the main logo and a favicon with dimensions of at least 1024x1024 that must have visual coherence at reduced sizes (20x20).
- The format of all images will be PNG with a transparent background
- It may consist of an image, text or a combination of both.
- A single user can make several proposals and all of them will be voted independently (maximum 3 per user).
- The design must be original and will be delivered under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivatives license.
- The deadline will be open until August 31. From that day, the votes will begin: two weeks for the first round and another two weeks for the second round.
- The winner will exchange their points automatically in the II HardLimit draw.
- The proposals will be published as a response to this thread.
- Suggestions on the contest conditions: resolutions, colors, etc. are accepted until July 27 (reply to this thread). From that moment on, the specifications are definitively closed.

Well I've been working on it for a while with the chotoplof and this preliminary design came out without the favicon

Maybe it will look good on the cover but for the current table-like aspect of the forum I think it's going to look terrible.
I propose that the different proposals cobito take a screenshot to see how it looks integrated because otherwise I think we'll stick with the old one :p.

I think **Espinetenbolas** is fine. When all the proposals are in, I'll take a screenshot of each one to see how it looks. I've "remastered" the original logo with paint. I'm leaving it as a proposal and also in case you want to use it as a base. Logo:

The orange doesn't fit my monitor :ffu: …. I've checked it and it seems I saved it wrong and it converted the colors to the sRGB space when I clicked "Save for Web"... also something is wrong because Illustrator doesn't give that error when I edit :wall: The good thing is that Illustrator is more suitable for this kind of thing... the bad thing is that I hardly use it and it bothers me that Photoshop works wrong and I didn't notice it. EDIT: I add two proposals **PROPOSAL 1 For PREVIEW @ 1920X1080
Height 94pix:
VS.
PROPOSAL 2 For PREVIEW @ 1920X1080
Height 94pix:
VS.
** Let's see if people get excited. EDIT_2: I add favicon Favicon for the two proposals:

I don't know if you'll like the idea, I just did it

I can't see the images, I don't know if it's my problem
edit: it's Tapatalk's problem I can see -
Well I don't know, it's up to the tapatalk people. SVG has been a web standard for years, I hope cobito doesn't disqualify me for using it :troll:
Among the benefits of this format is the not squaring the page, for example.

Umm, interesting. I set PNG as a requirement only because of its lossless compression and its ability to use transparencies. Any more advanced format is welcome.
By the way, there is little more than a week left until the deadline ends.
@hAyO: I would need you to upload the logo with a resolution of at least 1080 pixels vertically and a favicon of at least 1024x1024.

The deadline expires tomorrow at 23:59.
