      Forgiven :-p.

I am completing my current blog with entries from those I had a long time ago thanks to the Way Back Machine at Archive.org, and to see the address they had those blogs I had to check the thread about the personal pages that had a lot of activity a long time ago.

Apart from that I was very active in the Linux subforum, so I remember a lot of Membris Khan, Psgonza, Tilt, Pipeline, Marçalj, the much-remembered pAtO, Vallekano, Forenaits… and many more.

Also missed are genuine forum entertainers like Sheuron and Spaceray, and those I had the opportunity to meet at the t-shirt meetup, like Shilmar, Máscara, Bleon, joki, Ovatha (this one keeps appearing at least on H2M)… and some others I also met in person like Davish at a Saxo Club meetup, hehe. At the t-shirt meetup there was also Packo, but I won't mention him because he's not among the absent ;-).

Other good times were those of Ogame (spectacular, and not because of the game itself) and the UT2004 games.

I won't mention those who follow you here and on Telegram but there's no need, because I've never liked Whatsapp/Telegram groups less than this one, which is like an extension of the forum, and others despite the drop in forum activity (we're going to turn that around, you'll see) have always followed closely, one even now leads this community.

You are some onion grandpas, you know that right? ;D Well, I think that, of the veterans, I was the last to land in these parts, but in the little more than 6 years that I have been rolling around here, I have not only met great experts in everything related to computer science, but I have also met great people who care about others and accept as a challenge to help other people solve their problems. With the arrival of the Telegram group, the relationship with some members of this great family that is Hardlimit has become closer, and I can already count some of them more as friends than as forum members. I am not going to highlight any name over another because all of them have my most sincere admiration for employing their always scarce time in sharing their enormous knowledge with the rest in a disinterested way. You are great… and you know it. ??

You have to love Obione and my partner Neptunno a little bit too! And special dedication to one of the ones I've read the most and with whom I've learned the most in these lands… The pink hedgehog Espinetenbolas :troll:

Ahhh those times when I was browsing the mods on the internet, excited to be a newbie one day with my computer, when suddenly I discovered this forum and I was amazed by the level and the good coexistence in all aspects… I didn't usually register anywhere out of laziness, but the truth is that here I saw things that pushed me to be part of the community at all costs, I couldn't miss having a place here. And today, 8 years later, I don't regret it at all ?

Thanks to everyone for having formed and continue to be part of this great family

            Greetings! ? ?

Bleom is one of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in my life, and it pains me that I haven’t heard from him in years, but that’s life I suppose.

Remember that we were the spearhead in our day, neither forocoches nor N3D nor anyone else. It’s a pride to see how this continues to be alive for some of us, and I’d love to know what has become of everyone’s life. Isn’t there a branch of old-timers like “What happened to…”? That would be great lol.

A hug to everyone and especially to Yorus for remembering me.

Man, what a surprise to see you around here! I like to see how some of the "classics" are appearing in the forum and many memories come back to me of what was for me the best time in this and any other community on the networks. Now some have been leaving and others have been coming in, veterans also in their own right and wonderful people (HL must have something to do with the good ones ending up here), but we are still here. I'll tell you that if we do a "What happened to..." and start investigating, we'll end up bringing more than one back to the fold, hehe. A hug!

                                          Hello fellow users:

First of all, long live the forum and thanks for this community that has been part of my life for so many years and I hope it continues to be.

I give myself a good scolding because it's been several years since I've been on the forum, in 2016 I was less active, but this 2017 that's ending I admit I've been on it very little and participated even less. My hobbies have changed, so to speak, and now I basically read forums about Stocks, Photography and Travel, although I still tinker around from time to time. My recent acquisitions include a Corsair 270R case that I really like because it was cheap, and an RX 580 graphics card that's not the most powerful... but it does the job for the little gaming I do. Although I must admit that at hard2mano they recently donated a K6-400 along with an Nvidia TNT and I'm excited lol I always wanted to have a computer like these and from time to time I turn on the computer with Windows 98 SE and I'm super happy remembering that era. I was more excited about the old equipment than the new components.

I must admit that all of you who are in this thread, and many who are not, have contributed a lot to me over those years. I signed up in 2005 and in a very short time I acquired knowledge that still lasts to this day. Before entering the forum I was capable of doing the biggest nonsense with a computer... and not for good... After a while of being on the forum I started to feel comfortable with computers, their components, how to solve problems. Now any friend or acquaintance who has a problem comes to me, and that's thanks to everything I learned at Hardlimit. I'm tired of building computers for friends lol or also fixing the problems they have.

In the end I admit that at least in my case, the Telegram or WhatsApp groups have "phagocytosed" my participation in Forums. That and as I indicate now my free time is more focused on other areas, but of course I still occasionally come here to read the new messages, so thanks to all of you who keep coming to Hardlimit because even though I don't come often, I recognize that I've known you for years by your Avatar, by your photos, and although as I say, it's been a while since I've been here, I admit that from time to time, in moments when I'm on the google screen, I think... damn Hardlimit! Dude, get into Hardlimit you haven't been in a long time, and it's a real pleasure to read you,

                                          So long live Hardlimit!

I thought I had said something in this thread ?

I registered in 2004, which is 13 years. I got involved attracted by a post about how to unlock the Athlon XP. It was the first time I did OC to a micro and from that moment on and thanks to everything I read here back then, my knowledge increased exponentially (until then my main medium was PCActual ? ). But I didn't start participating more regularly until two years later, when I asked for advice to build my current PC.

As I see that it has happened to a few of you, my hobbies changed but for some reason, Hardlimit was always in my favorites and it was the first site I checked every day to see what was going on.

A year and a half ago I agreed to take charge of the forum and that gave me motivation and interest to keep up to date with hardware news. In fact, lately I have left the Linux world a bit aside (which doesn't mean I have abandoned it by any means) and I have focused more on the site. Since I took the reins, HL has occupied by far most of my time in front of the computer in my free time.

Although from the first second my desire was to relaunch the forum, reality has not stopped giving me good hits in this year and a half. But this is what it is. Sometimes you lose perspective of reality, and that reality is that for 10 years there have been those who have questioned what will be done to relaunch the forum; and I am not someone to do that in a year and a half.

Hardlimit reached its moment of glory a long time ago and thanks to that, we have a great repository of information. There are still some veterans hanging around here, making valuable contributions and keeping the forum alive. Now we are a small community with a giant under our feet and I think that is a lot seen how most sites that don't have half the life of this one have ended up. A small community; that is what we are, neither more nor less. I hope that it is not too ambitious a goal that it remains that way.

The fight is not over and I hope to find the formula to make sure that in 15 years there are still forumers reminiscing about old times.

Until then I can only miss all those forumers who, along with you, made this a great community and who are no longer seen.
