Bilis: Orange Ultimatum
-
Already warned, it's to download bad vibes.
I received a call from a... commercial from Orange notifying me that starting March 15, the day after tomorrow for friends, they will increase my bill by €10 + VAT, with a permanence contract as a gift. I told them that nanai, that I'll find a way.
Well, the worst part comes when I start comparing rates... and they are identical (except Vomistar, which is cheaper than the monthly payment of a BMW). You look at Fixed+Fiber+Mobile and they don't reach €5 difference per month. A year later, between the two options that are most cost-effective, they are €40.It's that to top it off, no one offers you less than 50 MB in that rate, of which I have 45 left.
Where
is the competition?Anyway, I'm going to buy some petroleum jelly before they close the pharmacy.
-
Take a good look at the options, and although Movistar probably gives you the best TV with fiber, it works very badly (crashes) if you put more than one mobile, it's better to have them on OMV's.
Excel sheet and compare and compare, and as with fiber there is a lot of permanence, so be clear about that too.
Good luck

competition? hehe this is Spain my friend. There is no free market here, there is mafia market. Then they give them a fine of 50,000€ for fixing prices and in a couple of hours they have recouped the fine with their tricks. They are the biggest white-collar thieves in history.
-
@whoololon have you looked at masmovil?
-
@kynes Yes, I have used several comparators and there are always two that come out on top as the most "advantageous"; the thing is that there is hardly any difference between them.
The thing about having mobiles in OMVs, with the one I use there would be no problems but with the rest I don't decide... I wish I did, already.
I don't spend money on television, I don't watch it for free, much less paying for it; so I suspect that here they call it the law of the free market, but it's really the law of the funnel.
As for the rest of the offers, it's worth noting that firstly, you look black trying to get the price out of them outside of the promotion (which is ultimately what interests you), and secondly that what they don't charge for on one side they charge for on the other. It's garlic and water.

I'm updating, because this is a waste of time.
As of today, Garrafón has still not ported one of my phones to them, nor have they given me access to either HBO or F1.
However, they have already charged me the €52 fracture of my soul... when they told me that everything included would cost €45 for a year!I called and they assured me that they would hurry with the porting, that the issue with the channels' password would have to be resolved when that line was ported; I'm annoyed that, without those two services active, they have already charged me the monthly fee, to which they responded that "they are free services (my ass) and what you pay for is the landline and internet line".
They also clarified (now) that it was from March 28 that some things were modified, such as charging for caller ID and for a service for mobile data that ignores consumption while using Whatsapp, for example.
I'm confused; first because they told me €45, including VAT, for everything, for the first year; and second because they didn't even wait a week to throw the contract out the window, with half of the services still not activated, as I've already said.Pause for you to get some popcorn and some soft drinks.
Orange called me asking why I was canceling, I told them it was because they (Orange) called me to warn me that they were going to increase my monthly fee by €10 + VAT... and they tell me that's a lie!
I held back from swearing (today I'm pissed) and explained what happened. According to them, it was Garrafón itself that, pretending to be Orange salespeople, pressured me to leave there. The stupid question they asked me afterwards was "¿Why didn't you call us to confirm it?" As if I had to play detective every time a salesperson calls... there wouldn't be enough hours in the day.
Anyway, they made me an offer so that I wouldn't leave... and it turns out to be more expensive for me to stay!. I said it like Fumi from Morata: "...if you don't offer me a better deal, make it equal to the other one."
In summary, this month I'm paying two companies (because Garrafón still hasn't canceled my contract with Orange) for what neither is giving me, and I'm sitting on the edge of my seat about what's coming next month.
By the way, to manage my contracted products, I have to refer to the Oño website... when I called (and in a bad mood) was Garrafón. If they're the same thing, they should put up a joint page and stop giving a damn and confusing people.
I'll keep you updated when there are any developments.
-
@whoololon I would go to the consumer protection agency and file a complaint against both of them. It's not very helpful, but when they accumulate a few thousand complaints, the telecommunications market commission sends them a little package.
-
Well, if they pretended to be Orange, it's probably even criminal. Tell Orange to tell you that in writing if there are eggs.
And about the "free" parts, they probably didn't tell you that when you signed up. They offered you the package with all the services, so demand them all.
But anyway, if I tell you what happened to me with Movistar...
They're all the same.

I'm updating again. After many calls to 22123, in which I ended up talking to seven different people, they are supposed to complete the portability of the main mobile phone tomorrow, without which I can't access HBO. That said, of the three free months of that channel, I've already eaten half of it without being able to access it; I'll cancel the TV in three months, first because I don't have a penny, and second because in my house, I don't watch TV (and the rest, who are subscribed to the gossip of "telahinco", don't need more). I've also managed to have my monthly payment adjusted to the 45€ that they offered me when I signed up for the line, and that they will refund me the overcharge in the next bill. We'll see. The most annoying thing is that today the same person called me again, (+98627***27) telling me that they were going to increase the Orange fee... and I let off steam, within reason, to finally inform him that "I don't care about the machinations of your company, but don't call this number again." According to the email, the service will be activated on Wednesday, the 5th between 2 AM and 4 AM... for my part, if they were to indicate a failure in the portability again, I would go directly to MasMóvil. Let's see if all this ends, one is not in the mood for hassle. :older_man_tone2: ** Update: Today I had to call Orange to find out why the landline line still appears in their company, when the calls I receive are only made through the Garrafón router (I have two phones, one on each router to confirm it) and it turns out that "even though they received the notification, they forgot to process the order". So, they agree to refund me the landline fee, about 18€; after which I had to process the cancellation on my own. That said, they put me on notice that they will come to collect the router (which I already have configured as an access point) and that if I don't agree they would charge me 50€, I think I heard. Anyway, as I have two Liveboxes (none of them is the 2, incidentally), they will take the oldest one (which was only b/g), and with luck not even that. I'm also looking for a use for the optical modem... I can't think of anything. For now, I consider this epic tale finished.
