I won't be able to answer you because I'm a bit out of date regarding the state of the art, but for someone who knows the subject to be able to help you, it would be necessary to know more things like the price they offer, what you are going to use the equipment for, etc.
So little can be said. For multimedia and office work more than enough, for gaming it will fall short in graphics, for "casual" games or with low resolution (I don't know if the equipment is fullHD), it would be worth it. I don't even consider having a laptop without an SSD anymore...
And of course, everything depending on the price. In my opinion, I think Asus is one of the ones making the best laptops for quality/price (in general... they surely have a lot of junk too), ignoring Apple and Microsoft that go by other routes or alienware in their thing. Lenovo or Dell can be options. HP I think has declined a lot although with interesting things like Spectre...

To add something to what lforos mentions, the use you are going to give it is important, because from the start it is a fairly large extra cost between an i7-7500U and an i5-7300U, being basically first cousins.
The same with the 16 GB of RAM.
If you are not going to dedicate it to editing or design, it is a fairly unbalanced computer that will hardly pay for itself. -
Ok!!!
I take note.
Thank you for your advice...
