Well, yesterday we received a brand new LENOVO Y50-70 at work with the following features:

      Model: Lenovo Y50-70
      Processor: Intel Core i7 4720HQ 2.6-3.6Ghz
      Ram; 2x8GB DDR3
HDD: Samsung Evo 851 250Gb (can't use Magician).
      Optical Drive: None
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX960M and Intel HD4600
Sound: I think Realtek with speakers signed by JBL
      Screen: 15.6" 4K 3840x2160 (looks really good).

      And the one I have:

      Model: MSI CX62 2QD
      Processor: Intel Core i7 5700HQ 2.7-3.7Ghz
      Ram; 8GB DDR3
      HDD: Hitachi 1TB 7200rpm SATA 3
      Optical Drive: Yes DVD+-RW
Graphics Card: Nvidia GT940M and Intel HD5600
      Sound: Realtek
      Screen: 15.6" FHD 1920x1080

I mainly use the computer for designing with Photoshop, and sometimes for video editing and office work, so I've noticed that after activating GeForce Experience on the LENOVO, the battery life increases a bit more. On the other hand, this one is a bit thinner than the MSI, I imagine because it doesn't have an optical drive.

I did the HLBM tests on both processors and the truth is they are very similar, where one doesn't win, the other wins and vice versa. It's clear that the graphics card is noticeable.

Another detail is that the LENOVO has a red backlit keyboard, but the language is German. The optical drive issue doesn't bother me much since I already use an external Samsung one for those purposes, and I haven't burned CDs or DVDs for years.

@hAyO said in Which one do I get? MSI Cx62 2QD or Lenovo Y50-70?:

Another detail is that the LENOVO has the keyboard backlit in red, but the language is German.

So don't worry, they sell stickers with the Spanish keyboard to stick on top of the keys, the result is not bad.

I would definitely go for the Lenovo, it has the best graphics, and maybe new versions of editing software will use cuda and it will be noticeable. In professional video and photo editing, like solidworks bunkspeed and similar, cuda is used to speed up image rendering and the performance difference between a 960m and a 940m is brutal.

The lenovo. If you can put a mechanical hd on it, that would be great.
And the keyboard, you can get them in Spanish on ebay, in case you don't like the stickers.

I already have the Lenovo, and it's really great, it's not very different from the MSI, but the screen quality is definitely different. As for the keyboard, no stickers, I'm getting used to it. And I'll use an external hard drive, I usually don't need more.
