USB port failures a bit strange
-
I mean it's not all the time. And less or never on devices like the mouse, but with mobiles it drives me crazy.
They connect. It opens the folder with the storages and then it closes, after a while it opens again.
It happens to me on all ports with greater or lesser frequency, with greater or lesser incidence. When copying files it can leave me halfway. It's as if it lost the connection intermittently.
It doesn't happen to me with pendrives or with external hd.
With the mouse when I restart the same thing doesn't recognize one of the ports at first, but I change it and it already recognizes it.How can I debug this problem?
Thanks.

@Revdin Perhaps it is a problem of lack of power that the mobiles are charging while they are connected and the USB controller is trying to provide more current than it can. I speak from ignorance about how the USB controller of a PC is powered. I do not know if it will be a failure of this or lack of power in any of the lines of the power supply.
Let's see if someone can give you more clues.

If it's on the front ports, it's very common when they ask for more voltage than they can give. I think the front usb ports are usually 50mv, and that's very little to power some devices. That's why there are boards that have a driver to be able to charge phones and other electronic gadgets.
But you also don't tell us if it's on the front or the back ones -
@Revdin Have you tried the removal process?
Sometimes the simplest is the most effective.
