Security flaw in the Samsung Galaxy S10
-
It has been proven that if a gel screen protector is used, anyone can unlock the mobile phone.
-
Like faceID systems that unlock with a photo. If it gives false positives, it's not a usable system.
-
This of putting a doggy screen protector, and then registering the fingerprint on it, is like putting a combination lock, and then leaving all the roulettes with the correct combination except one, to save time.
I bet that Samsung's patch will be mostly about putting a lot of signs with warnings about the use of unofficial screen protectors.
We'll see how the issue evolves.
Salu2!
