What are you playing now?
-
Hello chumachos, I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and Shovel Knight. I must be a bit disappointed because the games are not giving me what I expected (see the God of War 4 that I just finished) and I like Shovel Knight more (very entertaining platformer and a massive tribute to 8-bit) than the cowboys although, watch out for the universe that Rockstar has created... With Hollow Knight it was the same, it hooked me more than GoW

-
It is the sad trend of the "current" games: lots of glitz, lots of chatter... but the same substance as a picture of a steak... and I think yes, those of us who come from the 8-bit era have seen it all. As Her Majesty would say: "we are not amused."
For my part, this way I don't have to bother with the hardware I have because I can't play the latest games.

I, on the other hand: I resort to archives (not long ago I replayed the Dark Forces series and the KoTOR), a lot of indie, quite a bit of RPG (those in 2D) and some X-Plane 10... by the way, for me a "great game" is one that hooks me and entertains me greatly despite its possible flaws, in that aspect I don't care much for analysis and criticism, forgive me.

And don't sell it to me so soft, come by here more often.

Basically I play Killing Floor 2 and nothing else... I mean, killing bugs online...
I have a long list pending for this summer when I will have a bit more free time: Metro the new one that I haven't bought yet, Bioshock all of them that I have had for years and haven't played, Borderlands 2 that I bought in February and haven't touched... GTA V... what a chore... Half Life 2 all of them, what a longing, Mafia 1 and 3, I don't have 2... and waiting for the new DOOM to come out to shoot. I have Dying Light bought a year and a half ago and haven't touched it either, and Arma 3 and Sniper 4 and... and so on for a long time.
In summary, summer will pass and I will have played little... I can see it coming, but I am 44 years old and honestly it has been a long time since games called to me much.
And of somewhat more Indie games I have to play: Braid, Don't starve, Inside, Limbo (almost finished), Machinarium, Valiant Hearts and the Thgis war or Mine.
In summary... I haven't played anything for years and I keep buying games... someday I will give my Steam, Origin etc account to my nephew, but he only plays the Sims hahaha.

Well, yesterday I installed a game after years of not doing so xD Ubisoft's Steep, which they were giving away until today. I don't think I'll dedicate many hours to it, but it's entertaining, the graphics and music are good. It's the kind of game I need, where you don't need more than 5-10 minutes to progress, long sessions are from another era... -
ideal moment to revive this thread.
mostly because we have "too much" free time, although the truth is that time is relative.
the more time we have (like now) the more things we look for to do and to pass it as quickly as possible.
well to the topic:
Day Z. I have it a bit abandoned, I get pretty bored of always dying of hunger.
Metro Exodus. finished, they sell it as non-linear.. but it's a lie. in general it's not all bad, but not for paying the current price. it gets short.
DLC's of metro exodus, I bought the pack. now I'm with sam's story. more of the same (metro) very linear, but to pass the time it serves me.
when I finish them I suppose I will replay something, because I don't see anything that ends up calling me, I suppose it's because the imagination of the programmers starts to run out, if I remember correctly I think about how many FEAR I have played, how many BioShock, how many Stalker, how many Metro, how many Battlefield, how many Far Cry, how many Crisis, how many Sniper, how many Wolfestein, how many CoD...

I have relapsed into WoW

-
-
I've been putting in quite a bit of time into Surviving Mars and Mount & Blade: Warband... aside from quite a few games that can't be mentioned here.
By the way, I also tried to get back into WoW... but since I'm one of those who has never touched the official server and the "custom" ones are empty, it didn't last much longer than a day.

But what have you done!!!
Well, it crossed my mind...
I have to start something, though. I had picked up GRID Autosport again, this time with a steering wheel, but this one says no, that no matter how much I try to fix things occasionally it disconnects and gives me an epic fail. So I've lost interest in the game and maybe I'll try something like a turn-based strategy or RPG.

What some junkies. I'm currently putting magazines in the museum, but when I start to get bored, I want to play the entire Half Life series by changing 1 for Black Mesa.
-
Hey, I've been playing Broken Sword since the beginning!
...don't look at me like that, when have I played something current?

-
@Sylver
plays far cry , but the one that came on 5 cds

greetings -
@Clipper The funny thing is that I have that Far Cry, but in demo, on a single CD that came with a magazine years ago...

It's all over the place for 5 bucks, one for each disc, I might as well go for it...

Best regards!
-
on steam you have 5 days for free to play half life 2, which is exactly what I'm doing

and for 8 euros the game plus the episodes

It's floating around complete for 5 euros, one for each disc, I might just go for it like that...

Best regards!
you were saying?

regards -
@Clipper Yes sir, only for real gamers of all time

Get some healthy ISO's there for the HardLimit family, right?

Best regards!
-
well you will tell me where to upload them, without having to think too hard, or install anything strange
regards -
Well, if this were a page that supports this kind of thing, I would tell you that the first thing would be to make ISOs of all those discs (from the OS you could do it if they didn't have any kind of protection, if they do, you have to use third-party applications), have them on the hard drive and with QBitTorrent or a usual torrent client, create a torrent of each of the images and leave the computer on to share, sending the link privately... but since it's not, I'd better not tell you.
