Corsair Vengeance LPX memory configuration at 3200Mhz
-
Good evening to all, I hope you are well. I would like to inform you that finally, after a long time, I bought the computer components, which were finally very different from the ones we made back in the day on the page. The problem is that when I install the memories that are 3200Mhz, the system recognizes them at 2133. I put the XMP profile in the BIOS of the Gigabyte Aorus Elite V2 and it did not recognize them. As there was a BIOS update, I put the 13G and it did not work either. Does anyone know how to configure them at that speed? or will there not be a noticeable change and is it better to leave them like this? or will it be a factory error and should they be changed? thank you very much!

After updating the BIOS it is advisable to load the default values, before restarting and start fine-tuning parameters and as I no longer touch Gigabyte I do not know if it is still necessary to press Control+F1 to activate the advanced configuration parameters...
Regarding the officially supported memories, you have the list here.

Many thanks Fassou, I didn't know that. At PC Componentes they tell me that if XMP is listed in the BIOS, they are already working at that speed. In CPU-Z, which I have downloaded, they appear at 1600Mhz, I imagine that because they are in Dual Channel it is the nomenclature for the 3200? My memory is CMK32GX4M2E3200C16 and it does not appear in the list. The truth is that everything has changed a lot since my 486 days... I leave some captures of CPU-Z.

1600 Mhz is what has to appear, as you can see in the SPD tab under the XMP-3200 profile
Mission accomplished!
