With the launch of the new Intel Alder Lake just around the corner, manufacturers of cooling solutions are giving away the adapter kits for the new LGA1700 socket of Intel's new processors with hybrid cores. But the socket is not the only difference compared to the previous LGA1200 or LGA115X of past generations, the LGA1700 will have a lower height and may cause problems with older cooling solutions.
      (Original text here).
I am looking forward to these new Intel CPUs. Because I don't have a PC, but I'm thinking about getting one. As @Krampak knows well, I would give it 24/7 for chess and also for other projects. The question is, if you buy a liquid cooling kit solution, what should it clearly indicate so that what is described here doesn't happen and the CPU can go to a hundred degrees?
I take this opportunity to send you a greeting ah! and now it seems that chess programs also use the CPUs of graphics cards, that is, I imagine it refers to CUDA. But well this would be in another thread.
      Hugs.

Hello!! If you are starting from 0 I don't think you will have problems since there will already be kits coming out that have their adapter for LGA 1700. The problem may be people who already have good cooling that is not even 1 year old and are facing this problem.
But many companies do their job well and usually release adapters (either by buying them or for free by paying for shipping). I had an RL Enermax that when I bought it only had up to AM3+ and when I got the Ryzen I was stuck. I contacted them (it took me a lot of effort to get through) and they sent me an adapter for AM4 for about 8-14€ I don't remember but it served me to have it in use for a long season.

For example the RL Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML240R RGB, if you go to the Cooler Master page they sell an adapter, or at least that's what I found on the Geeknitec page.

Anyway, just look in the specifications of the cooler/RL that support LGA 1700 and there is no more problem.

        Greetings!!

Hello dear friend, yes it would be from scratch. The Corsair tower and DDR5 latency issues because I don't know when and they will surely be very expensive, so 4 (at least 32gb). I want to make it clear that it's because they have released these processors for that socket, otherwise I would have gone straight for a Ryzen 9. But anyway, I see that it's going to cost a lot of money. Anyway, soon we will see ourselves sharing and validating tests. To get the most out of the cores of the graphics card and, if possible, overclocking it, what recommendations do you have?
