can a acer aspire E1-53G WON laptop run windows 10
-
Hello I have an old laptop u aspire E1-53G with an Intel Pentium CPU b960 at 2,20GHZ with two cores. and I have 6.00 GB of memory, I have installed Windows 10 pro.
The thing is that it takes a long time to load and it goes a little slow and has mini cuts.
My question would be what would happen if I install an SSD and increase the memory to 8 GB,
Would it be worth it, or do I have to buy a new laptop -
@cinusara Buenas,
With an SSD and a better formatting it will improve quite a bit.
The RAM already depends on how easy you can get it; with 6 Gb you can do well for simple tasks, although 8 Gb will relieve the system more.

@cinusara
If you have changed the OS I understand that you have done a formatting of the hdd, therefore it should go just as well/ bad as before, if you have not formatted...
It will go worse.
Or the same as before.
Because you expanded the RAM it will not start faster.
If you want to gain speed at startup mount an SSD.
If you want to expand the RAM look how many slots you have if they are two and you only have one occupied you can double if you find a ram identical.
But everything depends on the use you give it...
It may be worth it or not...

P.d check the status of the disk lest it be more dead than alive.

Thank you gentlemen for responding, you see I don't know what makes me want to throw it away just because it's old,
I will do what you have recommended and buy an ssd drive and use it for simple things.
Anyway I will have to buy a new one to use in other jobs. -
I'm sorry I hadn't said goodbye properly
Thank you very much.

@cinusara look at what the maximum data transfer of your sata port is and buy an SSD accordingly, if it's higher it will run at the maximum speed of your motherboard, not faster... So you might be throwing your money away (unless you want to reuse it in another newer PC (doubtful since new ones come with M2))
