Security flaw in Zen 5
-
A security flaw has been found in Zen 5 CPUs where an error in the RDSEED micro-instruction is being marked as correct, leading to the random number generator producing predictable encryption keys. This will be fixed with an AGESA update.

You always have to wait for reviews before buying a processor. Now that I'm busy with the help of chatgpt with vps servers, linux and phyton, c, etc. I really focus on these topics that I didn't even know existed before. Thanks for mentioning it, although fortunately the mini pc that I got to work on its cpu belongs to zen 4. Codename hawk Point.

@jordiqui I agree with you. And more so with the performance of the latest generation CPUs, they do not evolve as much from one generation to the next and take longer to become obsolete. I bought an R7 7700 and between it being cheap and, although it is not the latest generation, it is quite recent, it has been a great purchase that I am very happy with.
